The host George, greeted us with a friendly smile.
This was our second stay at the motel, as it's roughly halfway on our trip to the ferry in Wellington.
Very clean, quiet and comfortable accommodation, the Spa bath a bonus!
I'm sure we'll be back!

We travelled to Taihape for one of my sisters funerals and upon waking up in the morning we discovered that there was no hot water in our room, or for that matter in the whole block of rooms. Because of this we weren't able to shower before leaving the hotel.
The Owners/Managers were made aware of the situation and they discovered that the hot water cylinders for the block had ruptured.
No alternative or compensation was offered.
Very disappointing as we paid full price of $162 for our room for one night.
Will never stay there again and will not recommend it to anyone.

Always our favourite motel in NZ. Had many stays here in the past 10 years. Will be booking another stay for August. Clean, friendly staff, super comfy beds, lovely sized units, and spa bath so relaxing. Thank you again.

We made a call in the afternoon as we arrived later than check in time and the owner waited till 9:30 pm for us, it was really nice for him.
The room is spacious, including a big bathroom, since it is summer now there are many insects flying around, need to take care of them.
