The hotel is very clean, good air, outside there is a platform to see the scenery, now this season no mosquitoes, nearby field train and bookstore, two steps to the river, beach can go down to catch crabs yourself, the hotel's own restaurant surprisingly delicious, surprised me, nearby field train is also very good. GGuest UserDear sirs, i don't understand why you keep your centilized air conditioning system at 24 degrees. Do you realize that its not healthy to sleep at this temperature??!! Human beings need lower temperature for quality sleeping!! Dear guests of Pullman, if you are like me don't want to have 24 degrees with no possibility to get the temperature at least a bit lower, this hotel is not your choice. I had 4 hours of bad sleep due to hot air, then asked for the help of the hotel, and maximum they could do is to provide me a fan. So the rest of the night I spent under the fan blowing which is not so comfortable. Also stuff suggested me to open the window, given that the temperature outside is even higher than inside, it didn't look as a good choice. Never again!

GGuest UserThe Yitel in Taicang is a fantastic hotel. From the great front desk staff allowing us a bit of an early check in, to the wonderful breakfast, great room with a lovely big bathtub, to the very warm and friendly housekeeping and restaurant staff, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Yitel. We have been staying at many hotels over the last few months in China, and this hotel is a standout. The location in central Taicang is great, with a shopping mall and Walmart right across the street, and many other shops, restaurants, banks, and more within easy walking distance. Our large Queen room was great - very large, incredibly comfortable and well appointed - and, again, the great big bathtub was a special treat. There is a great in house laundry - most importantly, the best dryer we have used at a ny of the hotels we have stayed in. Great hotel and would highly recommend.

JJingerTravel with family. The room is quite big and clean. It has the characteristics of an ancient castle. It is in the German style street. It is very exotic. There is a musical fountain at the door. It is very German. German restaurants, German buildings, small bars, all in the style street. It is in the third phase of the style street. There are more restaurants in the second phase. It is not far to walk. Parking is free for 4 hours. The room is very sailor-style. The walls of the room are also navy-style. It may be because Taicang is the anchorage of Zheng He's voyage to the West. The blue ocean room is very comfortable. The front desk upgraded the lake view room to face the lake. It is very comfortable to walk by the lake at night. The set meal includes afternoon tea, coffee and puffs. The only shortcoming may also be because it is in the German Street. The underground garage is connected to the park. The garage can directly enter and exit the hotel room floor without swiping the room card. It feels not very safe. I hope it will be improved.

GGuest UserThe room on May Day was very tight, but I missed it early on May Day and booked two rooms, one on the outside and one on the courtyard.
Parking spaces include underground parking lots (right next to the hotel, near Starbucks) and surface parking lots (on Xinbei East Road, there is a small alley opposite the ”Yu Guoyuan” snack shop. The parking spaces are quite spacious)
The hotel is connected to the Leyin Garden next door during the day.
The hotel is very clean inside, the front desk is friendly, the room is large, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the bed is very comfortable, and the pillows are suitable for us to sleep on.
The hotel is very close to Shaxi Ancient Town. There are snacks, pastries, Taicang specialty meat floss, clothes sellers, and Yiwu small commodities. It is very lively. For breakfast, you can go to Auntie Zhang’s dim sum shop. The fried pancakes are quite delicious.

2) Rated non smoking but as usual, every room has ash tray and allows guests to smoke. Luckily my room has no cigarette smell, however once the air con is turned on, strong cigarette smell start coming out from the ventilation. I rather sleep through 5 degree without heating than killing my lung.
3) Corridor and room very old, damages everywhere
4) Staffs are nice though

The main issue is that all rooms are in the second floor and it could be noisy in the middle of the night or early morning because people just like to talk loud while going to or from their rooms passing by all other rooms! Maybe a sign that says “please keep quiet in the corridor” can help a bit!

The hotel is cheap and clean, just like a fast hotel. The hotel has a laundry room, which is suitable for people on long-term business trips. There are restaurants and fruit shops to the north of the hotel, so it is very convenient for eating and shopping. There is an Internet cafe and billiard room downstairs in the hotel, so you can play billiards when you have nothing to do at night. It's a great experience!
