Hotels in The Red Gate/The Dai Temple, Tai'an

Excellent! Even though the hotel has been open for many years, it's impeccably clean everywhere. They provided a generous welcome fruit platter, not just a couple of token pieces. Right across from the hotel is Pangu Plaza, which is incredibly convenient for dining and shopping. I forgot to take photos of the breakfast, but it was also very good with a wide variety of choices. The pool water was quite clean, but there were swimming lessons with many children, so I only stayed in for a short time. We also received a small gift upon checking out. The best aspect was the flexibility for early check-in and late check-out, which is a fantastic perk not offered by many hotels. They even called ahead to ask about our arrival time and made sure the room was cleaned beforehand, which was incredibly thoughtful. Our family room was great, featuring two sinks and lots of panda plush toys, which our child absolutely adored.

The room is clean and tidy, the hygiene is good, the breakfast is rich, and the location is very convenient, right next to the Dai Temple and close to the Hongmen trail entrance. The only drawback was that the hotel was undergoing water pipe renovations during the two days we stayed there, so the hot water was always muddy. Other than that, I am satisfied.

From the patient customer service answering my questions during booking to the warm welcome from the host upon arrival, the entire experience made me feel incredibly cared for. The B&B's decor is a cozy, natural wood style, and you can tell a lot of thought went into the details – like the small bedside lamp. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, and I had a wonderfully restful night's sleep. In the morning, opening the window revealed a stunning view of lush greenery, and the air was filled with a refreshing scent. Upon check-out, the host even presented me with some local specialty products. This feeling of being genuinely cared for was more memorable than any lavish decor. I've already recommended this B&B to my friends and will definitely stay here again on my next visit!

After the Qingming Festival, I accompanied my father to climb Mount Tai and stayed in this B&B. The courtyard environment is very good, the room is clean and hygienic, the owner is warm and friendly, the price is relatively affordable, and the B&B is very close to the Hongmen Scenic Area (it is directly from the B&B to Tianmen Gate). In addition, because the tatami sleeping experience is good, I specifically asked the owner for the supplier's phone number and prepared to book a set haha

We stayed for three days and two nights in total, and stayed in both room types. We drove to Tai'an by ourselves. My husband was responsible for driving, and I was responsible for choosing the accommodation. 😂 When I saw the second-floor rooftop, I chose it without hesitation. Unexpected gains A warm and hospitable boss, a reserved and careful front desk guy, and a warm and cheerful aunt! The boss placed trekking poles and umbrellas at the entrance, and the drinks in the beverage cabinet were also at normal prices. Just for the convenience of customers. This rooftop is amazing. I rushed up with my coffee in the morning and my Taishan original juice and fried chicken in the evening. Btw, the boss's wontons are delicious, the stuffing is so big, I was full after eating 4, and the rest was stuffed for my husband😂 Location: about 200m from the Hongmen Visitor Center, and about 1km from the actual entrance ticket gate! However, the boss will tell you the little way to save time! Facilities 1 The whole house is intelligent, and you can tell Xiaodu if you have something to do. 2. It was already past three in the morning when we drove here, and the boss was still waiting for us. I was really touched. The rooms are all equipped with floor heating, are very clean, and have smart toilets. There is a charging station at the door, which is very convenient. It's very close to the Red Gate on foot, and there are free hiking poles to borrow, just return them to the owner. By the way, the wontons for breakfast are delicious hahahaha

Arriving late at night, I was prepared to just grab a simple snack, but to my pleasant surprise, the hotel thoughtfully offered their 'Late-Night Congee' service. A warm bowl of congee, served with refreshing side dishes, instantly melted away all my travel fatigue. Breakfast the next morning was equally impressive, with a wide variety of nutritionally balanced options that tasted wonderfully authentic. Combining the comforting gesture of the 'Late-Night Congee' and the satisfaction of a generous breakfast, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel – a perfect 10/10 experience! It's also conveniently located near Mount Tai. The surrounding area offers plenty of dining options and convenient supermarket shopping. Parking is available, including EV charging stations.

The first choice for traveling to Taishan with children, firstly very close to the Red Gate mountaineering Pass, and secondly, it is very convenient to go to Taishan Night Market. You don't need to drive and walk all the way downhill. Finally, the hotel's environment is particularly good, the air is fresh, the small courtyard has a separate yard, the children like it very much, the most fortunate is that we witnessed a shocking sunrise feast for the first night, and then if we have the opportunity, we plan to bring the elderly to stay for a few more days!
