This is no doubt a good location for a hotel in Ta***tay. Too bad the hotel itself wasn't that great. Although the staff was friendly and hospitable, there were few things why it is disappointing to stay here: 1. Rooms have no view. 2. Very slow internet and no phone signal inside the room. 3. Utensils were all disposable which made it very hard to eat and drink hot coffee. 4. Some lights were not working. 5. The only thing that made it didn't feel like a motel is a free breakfast.

Stayed at this place just this weekend and we really had fun. One thing that stood out for me was its tranquility. it being situated around 2km off the main road is not really a drag. Perfect if you really want some peace and quiet. Our room is just ok, the beds are nice and comfy. The TV only had cable channels, but we did not go there to watch TV :) The pool is not that big but even there were other guests, we almost always had the pool to ourselves. Maybe because it was cold. The people are nice, the guard even helped in carrying our things to our room. We had our breakfast outside, so maybe will try theirs next time. Overall the stay was nice and we will definitely come back!

The room was very basic and small with hardly any space to walk around. However, it was at an acceptable level of cleanliness. The walk area around the main building is nice. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We were served a complimentary welcome drink and breakfast the next morning. The only downside is the location. At the time of booking, I didn't realize it would be so far outside. There are hardly any fast-food restaurants within walking distance so had to take the tricycle.

It was our first time here and will definitely come back. The place is relaxing. Some of the staff are nice and friendly some are not. The room we booked is spacious can fit more than 2 people. The only downside is the amenities and breakfast buffet. Food varieties is not worth the price. Nothing much to do inside Anya but if you're looking for a chill place and have a quiet conversation this is a place for you. Hoping the next time they will add more amenities like sauna and other activities to do inside.

We spent a night here due to a nearby wedding. This was one of the few hotels with 2-bedroom options for our big family (6 in total). The good: great staff, especially front desk breakfast was really good, no bacon but it's not a luxury hotel. location is unbeatable with a supermarket and good selection of restaurants downstairs and across the street less than 5 minutes from sky ranch, good place to take the kids Room is large, plenty of space, beds were firm and quite good. Great view from the balconies looking out to the lake/volcano free parking in front and under the hotel Hotel has fantastic entry and exit points from the main road the meh: - The AC in the master's bedroom was blowing probably 25C air. Staff went up to check and the first one insisted that it was cold. The rest of the unit was doing 19-20C. That room you can immediately tell was NOT. We had to call the front desk again for it to be checked and after 2 more trips they finally figured the AC condenser was broken and it needed a freon recharge. By evening the room was getting cold. For a big repair they did it quite quick so kudos to them still. - The room had a stove and a kitchen but ZERO kitchen utensils. No spoons, forks, plates or even glasses. Not to mention no cooking equipment. What was the stove for? There was a microwave though, and the ref was working well. - There was a TV and a cable box, but no cable service until 9am the morning of our departure. I know this isn't the hotel's fault, but it's worth noting that providers in the area might not be reliable. Service was out for an entire day! Also, only the master's bedroom had a cable box, the living room did not. It was just a TV with no connections whatsoever. - The water pressure of the bathroom bidet is terrible, with no way to adjust - Hotel has free internet but limited to first three devices. So our family of six was half with and half without. The stay wasn't terrible by any means. We'll most likely return here in the future, given the room's size, but we'll probably be better prepared the next time.

If you want to go somewhere quite and just chill this is the place to be. It has a stunning view of Tagaytay. The only down side is their pool has no heater so it would be freezing as expected lol. Their in house Spa inside the hotel is a super plus, super relaxing and not iver priced. I also love the food at their restaurant, I ordered a lot lol. Complimentary breakfast is standard. Parking lot is spacious when we came in. Area is accessible to nearby Tagaytay spots. I will definitely comeback if I am in the area.

This is a very nice hotel with very courteous, friendly, and professional staff. We ate at the hotel several times. The food is good. The prices are reasonable. The breakfast is buffet on weekends and Filipino/American selection on weekdays.
We left a few days early because it was rainy (not the hotel's problem, obviously) though we did go on a driving tour and a boat trip around the lake, which was a little expensive but enjoyable.

Have been traveling throughout SE Asia for the past month and a half and have stayed in a variety of hotels, but this place takes last place so far. Upon checking in, we were shown to a room with a kitchenette - Room E (not that we needed it, but that's all that was available when booked). There was a fridge, a microwave and a sink and not much else. Plenty of cabinet and counter top space, but no way to cook anything. Not sure why they were so excited about the kitchenette. It was a nice sized room, but the smell of urine and sewage from the bathroom was overwhelming. Really tried to deal with it, but when the wi-fi wasn't working, had to inform the front desk agent. She came to the room and agreed it smelled bad and immediately moved us to another room by the front entrance - Room B, which we appreciated. Wifi worked there also as we were so close to the front desk. Only issue was we had to move to a different room after 2 nights as Room B was booked. No biggie. We moved to Room H (I think) which is further down the hill and one of two rooms directly below a very nice look out pavilion. The room was much cleaner than our original room and smelled as though they used a gallon of bleach to clean the bathroom so we opened the front door and the balcony door to air it out. Front desk brought a wifi box for us, but it only worked occasionally. The water pressure was terrible in the bathroom sink and the shower and the water temperature in the shower changed from hot to cold to hot no matter what setting you had it on. Quite the showering experience. The wall between this room and the one next door was so thin, we could hear the conversations in the next room. Further, whoever decided to build two guest rooms under the lookout pavilion needs to be fired. Guests were going up there at 6am and running around with kids and created so much noise, we had to go out and ask them to be considerate of those sleeping. There was also construction noise at 10pm on a Saturday evening - drilling and hammering - appears some kind of a new structure was being built just down the hill. Perhaps construction could be done during daytime hours?? At check out, we were quite surprised to learn we were charged 50 pesos for a bucket of ice. Not too worried about the 50 pesos, but being told there was a small charge would have been appropriate at the time of ordering. The agent at check out seemed to care less about it and continued to press for final payment. The views are also not quite as advertised. While you CAN see the Lake, it would be best described as a โpartial viewโ. Overall, not very satisfied. Most staff seemed to try their best to make guests feel welcome and I'm sure many of the issues are a result of ownership or management decisions. Sad because this place could be a lot better. Will stay elsewhere in the future.

MmuliomThe hotel is pretty new and is very accessibke. The staff were also quite accomodating!
PPaulaiHCelebrated our birthdays (Me, my partner and my sister) at Hotel Kimberly. Initially, i booked for 2 rooms good for 6 pax. They called a day before and told me that they will upgrade us to their Guesthouse villa as they are fully booked. Glad i accepted the offer as the villa was so beautiful and big, good for 15 pax. We love the place, good for families with kids, my son loves their farm and was so happy with the activities such as animal feeding, horse back riding. They have heated pool as well. Staffs were very nice, friendly and accommodating. Will definitely recommend! Thanks so much again!
SSebastianI had the pleasure of staying at the estancia Hotel recently and was thoroughly impressed by the outstanding experience it provided. The friendly staff greeted me with genuine smiles and ensured a smooth check-in process, instantly making me feel welcome.
My room was tastefully decorated with a harmonious balance of modern aesthetics and homey comfort. The bed was incredibly cozy, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep. Thoughtful amenities, such as complimentary Wi-Fi, a well-stocked minibar, and premium toiletries, added a touch of luxury to my stay.
The hotel's on-site restaurant offered a delicious variety of dishes made from fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. I especially enjoyed the diverse and sumptuous breakfast buffet that catered to different tastes and dietary needs.
Conveniently located near popular attractions and public transportation, the Hotel made it easy for me to explore the city and enjoy its vibrant atmosphere. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service, comfortable accommodations, and exceptional value.
ZZharmaine SeptoNestled amidst the picturesque landscape of the Philippines, Taal Vista offered us a truly memorable stay. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a sense of tranquility that permeated throughout our entire experience.
The room was impeccably clean, exuding a sense of comfort and relaxation. The breathtaking view of the Taal Volcano from our window was simply mesmerizing, adding an extra layer of charm to our stay. We found ourselves captivated by the beauty of nature right outside our doorstep.
The accommodations provided exceeded our expectations in every way. The amenities were modern and well-maintained, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests or inquiries we had.
During our time at Taal Vista, we had the opportunity to indulge in the culinary delights offered at the hotel's restaurants. Each meal was a culinary masterpiece, showcasing the vibrant flavors of Filipino cuisine. The dining experience was further enhanced by the stunning views of the surrounding landscape, creating a truly unforgettable dining experience.
Overall, our stay at Taal Vista was nothing short of exceptional. From the clean and comfortable accommodations to the breathtaking views and impeccable service, every aspect of our experience exceeded our expectations. We left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the opportunity to immerse ourselves in such a serene and beautiful environment. We cannot wait to return to Taal Vista for another unforgettable getaway.
GGuest UserAll the staff at Hortz are very welcoming and friendly. They attended to our needs and made our Easter stay very memorable. We came with our baby and 2 dogs and everyone enjoyed. One of the best pet-friendly accommodations we've stayed at. Food is great as well. We will definitely be back!
GGuest UserWe stayed at the hotel to attend a wedding a few minutes away. Hotel staff were generally friendly and helpful. The welcome is warm, though the individual standing guard at the gate could be a little more friendly. The hotel property is spacious and has a great view of the Taal lake, with the obligatory IG fixture on their lawn. It's obvious that the staff has experience in taking photographs of people and the scenery. Parking is ample, but not shaded. So the sun does beat down on vehicles. Best to keep the windows slightly open to let out the hot cabin air out. The hotel room is well equipped. Clean and functional. Room is well appointed. The pushbutton curtain is a welcome detail. Half finished renovations have marred the view from the balcony, but if doesn't totally ruin the overall experience. Noise suppression is a problem, as you can hear echoes from the lobby quite easily. The card receptacle was either disconnected or not working, as it did not shut off the electronics when the card is removed. TV viewing is juggling with two separate remotes instead of a universal one. No compendium in the room. Bathroom is clean and equipped with amenities. The Bathtub drain mechanism though needs to be attended to. Hot water is not as much as desired, but it does serve its purpose. WIFI in the room and around the hotel are not the greatest, for casual surfing and social media postings it's ok. Breakfast was ok, with the usual fair you find at other hotel properties. Pancakes could be better. The offerings didn't feature much local specialties. It would be good if the coffee is what Batangas was famous for. Sugar substitutes also would be nice. Waitstaff seems to not have a common theme in terms of uniform. At least they were prompt and present went needed, not dragging their feet when working. Unused furniture cluttered the corners of the dining space, making the audio equipment near the open gangway painfully out of place. The pool is beautiful. Not temperature controlled, but placed well enough to be under the sun most of the time. Not much space to go sunbathing. Clean towels are provided. Even though it's not a deep pool to begin with, there is a 'lifeguard' on duty. he could be a little more cheerful and approachable. Bathers though are in full view of the dining guests. So expect to be observed by the people inside in case you have a shapely figure. Safety signs are not that obvious. The Rules and Regulations poster could do with an update. It would be nice if the room had a compilation of literature that would recommend places to go to, places to eat nearby. A local map even. The hotel needs to clean up in terms of polish.
GGuest UserBooked a room on the third floor, it was a bit hard to go up, the room pillars were a bit too much, the height was a bit short, the tall people were easy to hit their heads, the health was quite clean, the big terrace was very good, it was also booked for the terrace, a little disappointing It was a few days to rain every day, and the experience was a bit discounted. Itโs cold, oh yes, I went to New Yearโs Eve with my friends, I didnโt book a room on New Yearโs Day ๐
Rrenzie22โ we went there via commute, the place is accessible and easy to find. โ staff are friendly and attentive โ hair dryer by request โ we tried the other resto, bella ciao, a bit pricey but at least their food was decent. โ very small room. feels like im staying at a motel. i requested for a room with balcony. the balcony was very small and has a view of i dont know how to describe it. โ the hotel resto, organico gourmet, is meh . we ate there upon checking in, my bbq tasted ok and tender. but on the other order, meat was very hard. there are items on the menu that were not available. the coffee is just sad. oh God why!? โ a father and son was stucked at the elevator when there was a power outage. they have a generator but i didnt feel the sense of urgency to help them get out of the elevator asap. i felt sorry for them esp for the toddler as he seemed traumatized by what happened and he kept on crying โ pool was small and not heated (considering it's location) but it was ok. until it got very crowded because it is shared with the tenants from the residential area (some rented it out as guests). i hope you do something about it. may be have a different pool exclusive for hotel guests only. shower area was far from the pool, doesn't have any written directions as to where it was. so some just went straight into the pool without showering first. it was also very slippery, so i suggest you put something on the floor to prevent accidents. the area behind the glass of the pool was very dirty . not enough resting area or tables and chairs where we can put our things. โ since there was no towel exclusive for pool use, we had to bring our towel from our room. i called front desk to ask for a new towel since the other one was soaked already because we used it to dry ourselves from the pool. they are charging 50pesos for an extra towel. i mean really? overall, it was a bit expensive hotel but the experience didn't match the price. sorry but i will never go back and will not recommend it to anyone.
TTeam BanezJust checked out from a stay at the One Ta***tay Place Hotel. This place had its contrasts, so it's difficult to give a simple good or bad verdict.
Firstly, let's commend the staff. Their service was top-notch โ always available, ready to help, and maintaining a positive attitude at all times. We had inquiries and requests that were accommodated promptly and efficiently. They are genuinely an asset to this establishment.
On the other side of the spectrum were the amenities and the room. It seems that the hotel could benefit from some much-needed refurbishments. Signs of wear were noticeable in the room furnishings and certain areas in the hotel. They werenโt a deal-breaker, but they did detract from the overall impression.
Another plus side of One Ta***tay Place: its location. It's perfectly nestled close to the most scenic vistas Ta***tay offers. Its proximity to major attractions is a bonus and is something that future guests would definitely appreciate.
In conclusion, One Ta***tay Place might not be a picture-perfect stay but it offers a decent, service-oriented experience, and uses its location to great advantage. A few upgrades could definitely elevate the guest experience.
Would I come back? Yes, though I do hope to see some improvements next time around. For the price, service, and location, it's still a considerably good deal.
JJ*y A****nNice location, Nice view.. Sky Ranch and a Robinsons Supermarket is nearby but if you want to eat out in local restaurants there are also a lot nearby.
