The Carmelence View is a hidden gem in Tagaytay, offering a serene escape with breathtaking views of Taal Lake. We stayed in the Murano Suite, and our suite's view was mesmerizing. The peaceful ambiance and perfect location, just a short drive from Tagaytay's main attractions, made our stay even more enjoyable. We can't wait to return to this tranquil sanctuary!

This is one place which is just out of the world. Class location to view the Taal lake & Volcano . The sky line / view is just amazing . Words can't express or describe as you have to get to see this beauty during sunset . A superb getaway for the couples . Excellent hospitality, food , service , hygiene & maintenance. To top it up - a massive mall is just located 2 min by walk. Awesome management by the gentleman Mr David & his subjects. They are very honest, polite & work as a family . Truly the property should be named as: HEAVEN ON EARTH .!!!

I had a lovely stay, very nice scenery outside and breakfast was lovely. Eileel was very good to us and the staff was great as well. The Owner David was very good, kind and treated us so well. I definitely recommend this resort and would love to visit again.

This is our second time here, and our experience at The Carmelence View is again very pleasant. The staff are the friendliest and most accommodating and helpful. Our rooms have very good views of Taal. Rooms are also clean and comfortable -- beds are big, bathrooms are spacious (especially in the Family Cabana), and have all essential amenities. Location is prime -- it is along the Nasugbu-Maharlika Highway, near most tourist spots and restaurants in Tagaytay. Place is pet-friendly, too. Staff are kind to guests and pets. Place is also quiet and peaceful. For food, there is complementary plated breakfast, with choice of tea (tarragon is good) and juice (calamansi is good). They also have a restaurant, and you can order room service so you can have dinner in your room/balcony overlooking Taal. This place is simpler than other "more corporate" establishments. But this is also The Carmelence View's charm. This has become our family's favorite place to stay for an overnight trip in Tagaytay. We look forward to visiting again next time.

Pros: the view is spectacular and the staff are extremely courteous. Unlimited complimentary coffee and tea (during the duration of the stay) + pastries (just one-time upon check-in) Cons: the place doesn’t have a signage but I was told that this is deliberate as they don’t entertain walk-ins. We stayed at mid-pines 1 and unfortunately the room was dirty. It wasn’t maintained well. blinds were dirty and don’t work well, the toilet was dirty, furnishings were too old (but if they were properly maintained I’m sure it would’ve been ok). Crawling insects somehow entered the room. There was a dead rat at the garden area. I uploaded photos for everyone’s reference. Room service was inefficient as you either have to go out and place your order or send an SMS or viber (the room doesn’t have a landline). This proved to be inefficient as receiving orders took less longer (30 mins. for coffee and 1 hr for food).

Service - Poor Communication Skills of Staff - VERY Poor Amenities - Misleading versus what is posted. Value for Money - Not Worth it. The view was great but would not recommend given items listed above. There are better hotels in Tagaytay with equally spectacular views but impeccable service, unlike this hotel. I even gave constructive feedback but to no avail. If you read this, take it as a sign not to stay here if you want to relax and have a good time. ☺️

I stumbled upon this hotel in Facebook. I checked the reviews and they were satisfactory. Hence, we booked a room for 4 persons and given the Mid Pines Suite 1. Getting to the hotel we were a bit lost. We did not see any signage to lead us to The Carmelence View. We entered the The Carmelence Lodge which was across it because it had a signage. Only to find out that you have to enter a driveway to lead you to The Carmelence View. This was the only letdown in our stay. It would be better if the hotel had a sign especially for first timers. As we entered the driveway, we saw some old house structures and felt eerie if this would be the hotel. As we moved further along we found the parking and the foyer as you move up to the property. Good thing the hotel lobby had a homey vibe, a far contrast from the hotel driveway and the dilapidated house structures that we initially saw upon entering. The hotel room gave us a good view of Taal Volcano. This was far the best view I ever had in Tagaytay because the hotel rooms have big glass windows that showcase the beauty of Taal Lake. In other properties, you have to step out of the room to see the view, but at The Carmelence View the magnificence of Taal is just right out there easily seen. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. At night, the property is well lit and you can lounge outside the room balcony or in the hotel veranda. The extra bed was a mattress and not really a bed. The breakfast was plated and there are several options for you to choose from. Good selection for breakfast. Given a chance to go back in Tagaytay, I would choose this hotel again. Would like to try their other rooms. Just a suggestion though, hope the management can put up a signage in the main street for the guests. And if they can cover the old house structure in the entry of the driveway. That’s just about it. Overall, our guest experience was very good.

The only good thing I can say about this place was the view, we had a spectacular view of the lake. We stayed at the Family Cabana and for what we paid, the whole experience was very underwhelming, total rip off. Door was hard to close, bathroom ceiling was full of mildew, shower head was large but the water sprinkled all over the place. Bathroom door doesn’t have a lock and it was hard to open and close. Wall mirrors in the bedroom were stained with black spots. Bed was comfortable but bed sheet had a very visible tear/hole. Blinds to block sunlight were also stained with mildew. Two different curtains (colors and patterns were entirely different) which were sewn poorly was supposed to block the light from outside. Jacuzzi was dirty, so we didn’t get to use it. Wifi connection was weak, staff admitted but no solution offered and elctrical sockets are loose. These were just some of my glaring observations, and I was really disappointed as the photos in their website were complete opposite. Good thing we only stayed overnight. Really hope they consider renovating as the room was visibly not well-maintained.

We stayed in the family cabana. The pictures in their website are misleading. The room, when we arrived, was extremely underwhelming. For the price we paid, we were expecting at least the basic to be provided with no issue. Water pressure is very low, almost all sockets are loose, some lights are busted, toilet got molds, the roof of the bridge is tattered and covered with curtains. The only saving grace is the view of taal. For it’s steep price, you are better off with other nearby hotels.
