Courtyard Tacoma Downtown

I really wanted to give this a 5 star review because of how friendly the front desk and valet staff was. So I will start with the positives and most of this is positive. The rooms are clean, the hotel is clean, and around the area seems safe. The staff is very nice, especially during check in I was welcomed by 3 very cheerful and happy ladies in the front desk and they made me feel like a valued Titanium member. I got the goodies like water and snacks to take to my room and also some recommendations on where to eat in the area. So kudos to the front desk! The issue I had was when I left for the day and I called and asked if they would be providing housekeeping in which I was told they would. When I got back to the room after a long day the room was not cleaned so I called and asked why my room was not cleaned and they apologized. I said I would be leaving for dinner and when I get back my room would be cleaned. I came back about 2 hours later and a stack of towels were in the bathroom but my room was not cleaned. When I called again they said they left for the day and apologize. When booking a hotel and I have a long day planned I want to come to a clean room where I can relax and not worry about cleaning. This is where the property failed.

Everything was great except parking! And i was double charged for parking and not refunded!

The noise outside on the street was very load. The rooms were nice and clean and the bed was very soft.
