The hotel is easy to get to, but be careful it is easy to miss the sign. There is a carpark, but it isn’t that big. The reception of the hotel is on the street, but as I was coming from the carpark at the back there was no signage to tell me where to go. I asked what looked like some employees standing around smoking and they told me I could go through the restaurant. I did, but the waiters didn’t seem to like me doing that with my luggage, they stood looking at me with grumpy faces and didn’t offer me any help even though it was obvious that I was lost and needed help I managed to find reception and got checked in fine, there is no separate bar, but reception does seem to sell some soft drinks, wine & beer from a cooler behind them. My room happened to be a family room and I had to walk through a large child’s toy play area to get to my room. The key to the room is an actual key with a large keyring so it doesn’t quite fit easily into your pocket. The room was large with a fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, work table and chair. The bed was comfortable but the bedside light overhang over the bed and I had to manipulate them a little so that I didn’t bang my head. The family room has a separate room off the main room with twin beds. The décor of the room and the hotel is quite eclectic, with a mixture of modern, the room floor, the bathroom and then old antique style with the staircases as well as the chairs & pictures and mirror frame in the room. It looks like it is try hard to be Boutique but I feel that it isn't hitting the mark The bathroom was a good size and there was room around the sink to put toiletries. This room had a bath but the shower was positioned on the wall in the middle of the bath so it was actually quite awkward to shower. Plus the bath wasn’t one designed for a shower so it had a curved bottom (instead of a flatter one) and no grips, it was very slippery when wet and even though I held onto something as I stepped in slowly, I slipped a few times Wifi was good throughout the hotel. In the room you are provided with towels and a bathrobe if you want to use the outside pool facilities. I was there for work and didn’t get to see them. There was AC in the room but it was loud so I had to turn it off at night and when it was on I didn’t really feel it cooling the room Breakfast was a buffet with the usual options, bread / pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cold meats, hot eggs and other options. There is signage around that you are not permitted to take any food back to your room and would be fined if you did. The hotel does have a large restaurant with outdoor seating which is nice in the summer but my visit was short and I didn’t get a chance to eat there Overall you can tell that it caters to families, but I didn’t encounter any particularly friendly staff and didn’t feel that comfortable staying, not sure if I would stay again
