Dirty, disgusting hotel. Maybe 5 years old but looks 100 years old. Proof is in the photos. If living in filth and stains are you cup of tea, then by all means stay here. If you don’t like living in squalor, find somewhere else. This is just pictures I took in 2 mins in our room. Could have posted 100.

I’d like to try find something positive, and can say the front desk staff was cordial. However, the room was a dump! Overall felt dirty and tired. The most obvious were the stained carpets - we wouldn’t take our shoes/socks off. We had a late arrival and early departure, otherwise I would have left and found somewhere else to stay. Barely slept because we couldn’t be comfortable in such an unpleasant space. I haven’t stayed at an Embassy Suite in many years and it’s sad to see how this chain has deteriorated. Needless to say, we won’t be returning.

Overall, really good hotel. Looks like it was recently renovated, great looking space. Guy who checked me in was awesome. Made me feel very welcomed and that he really cared. Wish I knew his name (male, maybe early 20's, worked in the morning) Room was very spacious and well appointed. -Shower walls could have used a better cleaning. -Does not have the Hilton TV programming that has streaming services. -front door was difficult to open. two gripes: -No ATM within the hotel and when asked, I was directed to the mall. -Breakfast ending at 10AM on a Sunday morning is too early. Should be 11AM. Overheard two other tables, each with kids, both complaining about the same thing. In terms of location, I don't know much about Syracuse, but it is directly across the street from the mall which is has some good restaurants. There isn't a CVS or similar pharmacy anywhere local, so make sure you have everything you need. I didn't see any other hotels in the vicinity so, though not alot of options that I can see if you need to be in this area, it was a good one which I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We had a great two night stay. The entire staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I’m writing this review, though, to specifically shout-out and thank the breakfast chef. The complimentary breakfast was probably one of the best complimentary breakfasts I’ve had (I saw this after traveling cross country and staying in countless hotels), and the chef cooking omelettes and eggs to order was a rockstar. He was so kind and enthusiastic — he truly made my morning. On our first morning, we were down to breakfast early and he noticed me getting my two kids settled with their meals. I walked by a bit later to grab coffee for myself, and he asked me, “What can I make you? I saw you getting the kids all settled and want to make sure you get something for yourself.” His kindness was beyond appreciated. Thank you!

Well, so much for the go-to hotel when I return home to see family. I’ve been forgiving of things every visit (phone doesn’t work, room not cleaned, bed not made, dust on shampoo and lotion bottles, shall I go on) for the last five years or so but the new parking fee has pushed me over the top. $15/day parking charge to park in a parking lot that I have never seen reached its capacity since the hotel’s inception. Then, to find out about the charge on my bill days later, not when I was asked if I needed a parking pass (I prepaid for my room and thought it was odd I needed a parking). Hotel never mentioned I had to pay for it—lesson learned. However, I expect better. Now it’s time to search for better service and an hotel/organizations that value its customers’ dollars.

My daughter had her sweet16 party at embassy suites hotel by destiny mall,unfortunately it wasn't good my daughter wanted her party here so I just putted up with the party planners they charge 1,800 plus for the nasty food then she was like it's 3500 for because of the taxes and fees then after the party I'm thinking that's it that's the contract says 3500 she was sneaky and charge 700 at 8 at night the sales and catering staff is unprofessional and the food was nasty so if you want good food and reasonable price don't go to embassy suites hotel by density usa mall.

We have been staying at this hotel for years when we visit family in Syracuse. We won’t be back. On this trip they introduced a$15 fee to park in the parking lot the hotel shares with Destiny Mall. Parking is free at the mall and there were hundreds of empty spaces right in front of the hotel each night. The phones in our room didn’t work - if they couldn’t be fixed at least let us know. The room was run down - the sliding door was missing a rail and rattled badly. The carpet has stains. Lots of little things adding up to make the stay more irritating than enjoyable. The staff was sympathetic but unable to actually do anything to address our problems as the problems (esp the parking) stem back to the owners and their policies.

Clearly I am not the only one writing about the ripoff parking fee of $15 in a 1000 space lot with 30 cars in it just to add more pain to the Embassy bill. Good call guys to add this when you bought this hotel in November. Last time we are staying here just out of principal after staying here several times when there was no charge. I also have seen responses from management saying thank you for the call out but nothing about addressing this. Also, the telephone in our room is not working and the internet function to sign in also didn't work last night. Where is my refund for lack of service? Oh yeah that's right let's rip off our guests with parking and give them a room with not internet sign in or a telephone to call the front desk. The breakfast is ok but not good enough when they have $15 parking.
