Popular Swindon 4-star Hotels

My mother and I checked in to Jury's Hotel Swindon for what was to be a short two-day stay for a convention. Due to a medical emergency and then us both falling ill, our two day stay turned into a seven day one. Jury's became our home away from home and couldn't have been better. The staff were all extremely supportive and kind given our unfortunate situation. I didn't catch anyone's name, but I wanted to especially thank two members of staff who helped me with my mother when she fell very ill and needed to go to the emergency room. The two ladies went above and beyond their usual work duties without any hesitation. I owe them a huge debt of gratitude and I certainly hope their supervisors recognize the amazing staff they are so fortunate to have. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a great view of Swindon, which is a charming town. Especially old town Swindon, just up the street from the hotel. It's centrally located on many major bus lines and is a short walk from the bus station. The buffet breakfast was absolutely delicious, as was every meal we had from the restaurant. My only complaint is that the room did not have a mini-fridge or microwave, which would have been extremely convenient for us, but we were able to eat just fine between the food delivery apps available and the hotel restaurant. I wish every hotel was Jury's Inn Swindon caliber. Well done. 👏

Overall its worth the price. Only one downside, which the bathroom was a bit outdated with poor shower pressure. And we chose this hotel at the first place only because of the air conditioner, and it functioned well. There was a big carpark outside the hotel and staff members were friendly.

This was my/our third stay at the White Hart and that alone tells you that it is such a fabulous Hotel. too many accolades to write but everything was above and beyond expectations. The rooms were much bigger than expected and beautifully appointed. Easily on par with the Premier Inn chain but a little bit more special in every way. The Hotel has style, class and character, which is sadly lacking in the larger chains. The staff are simply wonderful and you can have a good chat with them, regardless of the time of day or how busy they are. The restaurant has an eclectic menu but everything is freshly cooked, so you really do get the best meals. The restaurant isn't a bland space, you do feel as though you are in a much classier restaurant and it is always busy. Free parking and quick access to the major routes makes the location ideal for all clientele. We will most definitely be returning for multiple stays and will be looking forward to it. First impressions on arrival were good and communal areas nice. Checked in just before 4pm and on entry to one of our 3 rooms found unclean and not made up from the previous guest. Given another room 2 doors away from my room even though we were told by reception we couldn't have rooms close together when we asked at check in. All rooms were very dark as most of the lighting didn't work and reliant on 2 lamps, only one in my friend's room. Black mould on sealant of bath and used tissue in the bin of my room. Beds all seen better days and wire springs could be felt, no support and definitely needs replacing. Nasty brown staining on one of the bed bases and fabric torn, all clearly visible. Lack of staff in bar resulting in us abandoning having a drink after 20mins of waiting and after telling reception staff who said they would fetch someone. Attempts to re enter our rooms failed resulting in long walk back to reception to get new card keys. This happened 3 times during our stay of one night, we had booked for 2 but left after one. The restaurant experience was sadly as bad as the rest, the whole menu was printed on a A5 size paper with font being no more than 9, the dimly lit space made it very difficult to read so we took a photo on our phones and enlarged it. On asking for a cocktail menu were told the bar doesn't make cocktails, ordered a bottle of wine and some water which came in a pint glass. We orded fish and chips which looked almost pale grey in the poor lighting, no golden crispy batter or chips. Asked for mayonnaise and told the hotel didn't have any. On .leaving the restaurant we were stopped by a member of staff who said we needed to pay, we explained we had given the room number on entering the restaurant and expected to be charged when checking out as is usual. We were told no payment must be made now. This hotel needs some serious investment and management, the staff appear to be ìmmune to complaints and respond with churned out statements that mean nothing let alone address the endless issues. My friends and I were expecting a relaxing 2 night break and instead had stress and disappointment for 1 night we actually stayed. For those that need good Internet connection this hotel is not for you. During our short stay none of us had phone signal or continuous Internet. Sadly I cannot recommend this hotel.

We hired the Parliament Room for our party. Laura and Alisha arranged everything we asked for, from the room layout, to the amazing food for the night. We had lots of comments about how good it was. We are so pleased that we chose The Tawny as everyone had an amazing evening. Thanks again to all the staff involved. Kev & Caron xx

What an absolute amazing find. The setting was so beautiful and the room was outstanding and so much nicer than we could have ever imagined. The free standing bath was our favourite, the bed was very comfortable and the settee area was very nice. The staff were very understanding of my sons disability and were very patient and kind. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed and cannot wait to return. Could have easily stayed there for days

Beautiful and lovely surroundings. A lot to choose from for breakfast. Most of the staff are nice, but there is one guy who is not that nice very rude the way he talks and answering questions. There is two glass in the bathroom which is fine but if you request for a glass to drink in the room they will still bring you the same kind of glasses to you. I think they should have different shapes of glass for different purposes. Also some of their tea cups are too big and is not classy at all.

The Paramount Apartments is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Swindon.The hotel offers easy access to Swindon Railway Station, just 1km away. Guests will find The Lawns, STEAM - Museum of the Great Western Railway and Shah Jalal Mosque Swindon just a short distance from the hotel.When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities.

There was a double booking on our booked apartment but the customer service offered us another similar property which was cozy and clean. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was big and clean. We had a good night sleep in a stormy weather outside. Location was central. There was £100 online payment of deposit before sharing the self-check details, which has not been returned yet. I hope, it will be resolved soon.

Excellent standards are once more to the fore at his charming hotel. This is a favourite loction for me to stay and at times thes standards have fallen short. Thankfully the hotel has once more risen to the top of the tree with excellent staff, no issues with any of the rooms used and quality, fine food delivered to all. The service was excellent throughout each sector of the hotel. I was very impressed with the breakfast, especially the hot food which has been poor on temperature in the past. The quality of all the breakfast food was superb, particularly the sausages and eggs. Furthermore the food throughout the hot buffet was hot, not luke warm as in so many hotels; here the food was hot on collection and stayed hot throughout. The restautant meals were also very good, the portion size was just right and the mains were tasty and succulent; the deserts delicious.
