Room decoration is not new
The breakfast is good and the surrounding environment is very good.
More suitable for family travel and vacation.

Beautiful and lovely surroundings. A lot to choose from for breakfast.
Most of the staff are nice, but there is one guy who is not that nice very rude the way he talks and answering questions.
There is two glass in the bathroom which is fine but if you request for a glass to drink in the room they will still bring you the same kind of glasses to you. I think they should have different shapes of glass for different purposes.
Also some of their tea cups are too big and is not classy at all.

A hotel in midst of natural environment, see very nice sun rise and sun set. quiet and peaceful. Hotel staffs are very nice, friendly. They take initiative to offer help.

The events team were so helpful in organising our golden wedding celebration. Nothing was too much trouble. This was the second event they organised for us and would happily go for a third. The food was good and the accommodation was lovely. Thank you Vikki and Abbi I am sure we will be back.

Booked trough wowcher - upgraded to 4 poster room. Needed to upgrade to full English breakfast as apparently the deal was only continental. We had dinner on 1st night included and late checkout. Room was amazing- only downside was you could hear music from function below. Lovely views and balcony. Dinner was lovely. Lovely friendly barmsid/waitress called Lucy - an asset to the hotel. Cons You could only really drink in the evening in the restaurant bar - only a few seats and no ambience. We sat in the conservatory bar on the 2nd night but had to go to restaurant bar to get a drink. Needs to provide better atmosphere in the evenings. Overall great value for money. Lovely hotel and grounds. Would definitely recommend

49 of us descended on the Hotel for lunch ( we had booked!) and had a lovely 2 course meal in the main dining room. The quality of the food was good and the staff very friendly and helpful. We are all going back at Christmas . Ps The restaurant is very pleasant with nice countryside views, there is a bar ( and another in the conservatory not far away).

We stayed the night with lots of family members to celebrate a birthday. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food for the buffet was excellent and very enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent, great quality ingredients and a wonderful range of food. Room - nice size bathroom although the bath was very deep making it difficult to get our after having a shower. We couldn’t switch off the radiator in the bedroom which made the room hot even with the windows open and two towels over the radiator in an attempt to reduce heat. Great tea tray with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Two bottles of water. Our room only had a double bed. I must have missed this description when booking. The problem with our room was a wall that protruded into the room making it extremely tight to walk passed. Our room was 106. Not sure if all rooms on the ground floor has this undesirable feature. Would I stay here again, yes definitely but next time would make sure it was either a king size bed or a twin. Our room was definitely on the very small size. But there were plenty of sockets and usb charging points.

From the time we checked in until we left, the friendliness of the staff was apparent. On arrival, check in was quick and as we were on the first floor, they even offered to carry our cases up to the room. Breakfast and dinner meals were very good, with a nice variety of food available. The room was very clean and neat and the bathroom had good large fluffy towels which is a bonus. We had no complaints as the 3 days spent there were amazing and relaxing. The grounds are so large and there are plenty of walks around the hotel to explore the forest. The staff were very welcoming and treated us like important guests.
