This delightful mountain retreat, located on 19.3 acres in Leatherwood Mountains (a gated equestrian development-zip code is Ferguson, but is actually about 10 miles away), is a perfect place for a romantic getaway or a special family gathering. Our home is very spacious and beautifully decorated with Bob Timberlake and Charleston Forge furniture mixed with antiques and oriental rugs. Every room has a view of Grandfather mountain and the view is a 180' view of the Blue Ridge mountains. Each of the three bedrooms has its own private bath (two of the baths have jetted tubs-the master bath has a separate shower, also). Two of the bedrooms (including the King Master suite and a Queen-size bedroom) and the loft with a Queen-size sofa bed are on the second floor. The Master suite even has a gas fireplace. There is a third bedroom on the first floor with a Queen-size bed. The Great room has a 24-foot Tennessee field stone wood-burning fireplace and triple windows and doors to take advantage of the view. The dining room has seating for 8 and a bar with seating for 4. The kitchen with beautiful granite countertops is equipped for the gourmet cook with double ovens, a gas cook-top, a side by side refrigerator with ice and water dispensers, Kitchen Aid stand mixer, coffee grinder, and many other amenities too numerous to mention.
