The first time I walked into this condo I loved it! The surrounding trees made me feel like I was in a tree house. This Harbor East Condo is located in the Ouachita National Forest, within walking distance of Lake Ouachita. You can enjoy sitting on the deck watching the birds, squirrels and deer or heading to the lake for some fishing and fun. In the evenings the upstairs neighbor feeds the deer which can be viewed from the back deck. The condo can sleep up to 8 people with a California king bed, 2 full size beds, and a sleeper sofa.TV’s are in the living room and both bedrooms. All have streaming capability. A DVD player is in the living room. There are a few DVD’s located in the TV stand in the living room. Games can be found under the kitchen peninsula counter.The master bathroom has a soaker tub.Your kitchen has all utensils to cook and serve, plus a dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, stove, microwave, coffee maker, blender, mixer, and a washer and dryer in the closet of hall bathroom. Also, a propane grill is located on the side deck.Living area has a sleeper sofa and a nice cozy fireplace. Nearby you will find 2 swimming pools, a beach, pickleball courts, tennis courts, basketball, playgrounds and lots of trails for walking, mountain biking and ATV riding. The lodge has a great restaurant. At the marina, you can rent boats, kayaks, paddle boards and canoes. If you are bringing your own boat, you can rent boat slips by the day through the resort. Fishing guides are also available. Horseback riding or a carriage ride with the Mountain Harbor Riding Stables is one of our favorite activities.
