Chiang Saen Hotels with Pools

Pros : • Space comfortable room with view of Mekong • Air restaurant with reasonable buffet breakfast • Infinity pool with beautiful view of Mekong river Cons • Here and there some Thai shortcomings • Coal terrace : this could be so beautiful. • The swimming pool is urgently required to restore. • No bar and restaurant for lunch or dinner Are you sure that the rest of the hotel is under-size for a 4-star hotel. We stayed here in 2017 also: quality has decreased significantly. Our luxurious room 305 was very spacious (30m2) with a good and broad bed (1.80m broad) and flat floor. Good air conditioning, medium-sized flat screen TV, wifi, coffee and tea. The spacious bathroom with indoor rain shower and separate bathroom is very comfortable with bath jackets and pantyhose. Room facilities are perfect. Good dark curtains. Balcony with 2 seats and table and most beautiful views of the Mekong and Laos. But don't forget: cheaper superior rooms on the back of the hotel have no view of Mekong. The breakfast buffet in the quite cale restaurant was enough with a separate egg station. Sometimes evening restaurant sometimes not, so unreliable. No bar is free coffee and water in the lobby. The outdoor terrace is extremely hot, really regrettable because with a little money and difficulty an architect can do wonders here. Great infinity pool with view of the Mekong River and with clean water but a lot of shortages , only three wooden seats. Some free bikes to use.

I had a wonderful stay here—truly a home away from home. The accommodations were incredibly comfortable, and the atmosphere made me feel right at ease. The town is stunning, with a rich cultural heritage that I enjoyed exploring. I also took hotel's bikes for some sightseeing, which added an extra layer of adventure to my trip. A fantastic experience!

The hotel has 2 buildings on each side of the road. Accommodation is a small building, self-service, no porter. The door opens with a card. The hotel parking lot is broken, 3 floor building, there is a container and the name of the Siam triangle hotel is confusing. At first, I couldn't find the hotel, only the name has to call to ask at the hotel for the clean room, no mechanical. The first time I lived in Anantara, I saw the opportunity to get in touch with elephants. For the Three Kingdoms View Room, the two children added two meals for two days and two activities for a total of RMB 8,000. We have stayed in many adventure lodges in the past and so were very excited to try out this spot. We loved it. The interactions with the elephants in the sanctuary are truly unique and such a highlight. Also, the staff is superb. I love that the Four Seasons higher mostly locals. Their warmth and hospitality shine through! Everyone on staff makes you feel right at home! a few highlights, Poy, the GM, was such a sweet joy. I had read many positive comments about her and they are spot on. Filipo is a new addition to the tea,-he runs food and beverage and it shows! Every morsel we put in our mouth was delicious!! We also love a good cocktail and found in Asia many restaurants don't offer cocktails, so their creativity was a great surprise! Our guide, Norman, was such a delight, we miss his giggle. Ralph was so attentive and cheerful! And the CHEF!!! she is amazing!!! Everyone was great, sorry, I don't remember everyone's names! We were lucky enough to get to experience both one of the luxurious tents and also the lodge. I was so torn about which to book, we had booked the tents (we are a family of 5) and so upon arrival, I asked the manager if the lodge was available at all during our 4 night stay-it was for two nights, so we got to experience both. They were kind enough to move our things. While the tents are amazing, the private pool and hang space of the lodge were perfect for our family. The chef came one night and grilled us dinner and they set up a movie projector and we watched a movie under the stars! We stayed 4 nights so we took advantage of all the resort had to offer. Spa, elephant dinner, bathing the elephants, breakfast with the elephants, hike, in-town excursion, fishing, Burma Bar, cooking class, wine tasting, the common pool, many wonderful meals, etc. All were great. The only thing I may skip would be the fishing. The highlights were elephant bathing, cooking class and the elephant dinner. We also really enjoyed learning about the elephants and how they got to the sanctuary and how the Mohuts spend their lives caring for them. The quality of everything here is beyond 5 stars. If you love an adventure and love elephants, this place is a DO NOT MISS!!
