The location makes our hotel the ideal basis for business stays, but also for more leisurely visits to the city and the area around Groningen. Parking is free of charge and from Friday to Sundays you can use the shuttle service to the city centre, which is also free of charge. The hotel has 121 rooms, a large number of which have a view of lake Hoornsemeer. The lake is a wonderful place for cycling and walking; the hotel offers bicycle hire and maps of walking routes are available. After a good walk or bike ride you can enjoy the hotel’s pool, leaving you fully refreshed for a special culinary dinner in restaurant Meerwold.

Hotel located in a green position and with a lake in front. Very relaxing panorama from the rooms and from the outdoor space dedicated to breakfasts and meals. Very varied breakfast, both for the sweet and for the savory part (different types of cereals, fresh juices, salmon, etc). The swimming pool and boat rental are fun especially for children. A bit far from the centre. The cleaning of the rooms needs to be improved, and we also did not appreciate the difficulty encountered in turning off the air conditioning (subordinated to the opening of the windows, but it did not cease even after an hour of opening).
