This is the most satisfactory homestay in the self-driving tour from Shenzhen to Guizhou. Both the hardware facilities and the service quality are very good. Let's talk about the hardware facilities first. Dyson, Xiaomi, Kohler, and Siemens are all good brands. The details are very in place, and you can see the degree of care. The service is also great. We are staying with an elderly person in a wheelchair. As soon as the shuttle bus arrived at the hotel, the two housekeepers warmly greeted us and took the initiative to help with the luggage and wheelchairs. Because of the early communication problems, our room was not arranged correctly, and we immediately adjusted the room type, did not shirk and quickly checked the hygiene of the replacement room again. For me, who has obsessive-compulsive disorder, I feel at ease and comfortable. Because it is inconvenient for the elderly to walk, three breakfasts were delivered to the room the next morning, which is really considerate. There is also a performance of the Dong Nationality Big Song Night in the evening, introducing some traditional cultural customs of the Dong Nationality. I personally feel that this is a very detailed homestay. I will definitely choose to live here again next time if I have the chance.

During the Qingming Festival, I took my parents out for a trip and checked in at the Longtang Mountain House, which I had been interested in for a long time. The hotel is hidden in the mountains. Going up the rugged mountain road, passing by the traditional Chinese village Longtang Village, and then going up the mountain for a while, you can see a group of hotels built on the top of a mountain, which is very ”secluded”.
Because it keeps a certain distance from the ancient village and is outside the style coordination area, the style of the hotel and the traditional village are not affected by each other. The hotel lobby and restaurant are also the best areas for bird's-eye view of the Miao village and terraced fields. The hotel itself is also a poverty alleviation project, and staying here is also very meaningful.
The exterior design of the hotel echoes the architectural form of the stilt house. The roof is completely made of tile roofs and traditional masonry methods. The interior uses height differences to form two functional spaces, bedrooms and living rooms, forming a contrast between virtual and real. Very good location! Getting to the main village is pretty far from bus and car drop off at the tourist ticketing counter. You will have to take a bus and buggy in so carry light or something manageable as you will have to push them through uneven stones. Once you’re at the village, the hotel is just a few steps from the scenic drop off point.
Hotel staff is friendly, we were offered a complimentary cocktail drink and ethnic clothing rental at another outlet 50m away. It’s also near an ethnic clothing rental shop (it’s good, we’ve tried them), restaurant and village buggy point. We were grateful we’ve booked this place as we don’t have to push our luggages around further. Room was clean, aesthetic, with a good view of a plantation. We are very happy with our stay in this hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room is big and clean. We were provided with a fruit basket and nice biscuits. Breakfast is good, too. Getting into the village is not so convenient, though. We came from the West Entrance. We need to take a coach, walk through a shopping alley, then take another bus and a short walk before reaching the hotel. The hotel staff met us at the bus stop and helped to carry our luggage.

We were super lost at first, but we gave them a call and they met us across the bridge and helped us carry our bags up the steep hill, and then up the multiple floors of the hotel. The two men at the front desk went above and beyond to help us out — we accidentally left a phone on the train on the way to Xijiang, and we couldn't contact the train company because we're international travelers who are not fluent in Mandarin. They helped us contact 12306, file a lost item report, coordinate with the train company, and arranged for a courier to bring the phone from the train station to the village. We got the phone back in less than 24 hours! They were also helpful with local recommendations, and overall very patient with my intermediate level Mandarin. Very lively location, right above bridge #1. The room was comfortable and clean, and the view from the balcony was gorgeous. Also, they have a very cute, sleepy cat ＜3

The rain in Guizhou really comes and goes, so choosing a good accommodation is very important. Here I feel very happy just staying in this B&B. The view of the B&B is very good. We didn't go to the observation deck, but we can see most of the panoramic view on the 5th floor.
The coffee in the hotel is very good, and there is latte art! BBQ is even more professional than the barbecue stalls outside, and it is really not perfunctory at all. The most important thing is that there is no time limit for breakfast. There are porridge, noodles and coarse grains. It is very homely and I feel warm and comfortable. The young staff is very energetic and passionate, warm and thoughtful to the guests, and help pick up the luggage.
I strongly recommend that the B&B has its own restaurant Four Seasons Food Source. There is a discount for staying in this B&B. The ingredients are very fresh. The remaining raw beef was not finished, and it was taken back to the B&B to help grill it. The pure lean beef can be grilled fresh and tender, which really feels fake!

JJuliaProbably the best hotel during our trip through China. Great location in Zhaoxing overlooking the historical village in a very quiet area, perfect for who needs rest from the hustle of Chinas big cities. Beautiful, carefully designed and furnished room with wooden floors furniture, very comfortable beds and great bathrooms.
Lots of little extras, like a beautiful reception area with balcony, a generous fruit basket refilled every day, great and healthy breakfast, pick up service from the train station etc.
Young and very friendly hosts, english is hardly spoken but with a translation app communication is easy and the staff are keen on helping you with any questions.
As the house was not fully booked, they surprised us with a free upgrade to a larger room.
Over all, an amazing experience!

Contact us as soon as you place an order, and note our number of people, catering taste and mode of transportation. Recommend to us to adjust the room type that suits us, recommend the itinerary to us, and even have a lot of travel suggestions that are not in Zhaoxing. They will also take the initiative to contact us the day before check-in. Now Dong Village no longer allows inns to provide private charter services, but living in Seclusion is really invincible. The high-speed rail station transportation bus can be sent directly to the entrance of the inn. You can drive to the entrance of the scenic spot and take a sightseeing bus. There is also a dedicated Seclusion station, which is 200 meters away. Ping Road can also go to the entrance of the inn. If you leave the inn and go to the gate of the scenic spot or the high-speed rail station, you can help to contact the transportation car to the gate of the inn. Every time we get on and off the bus, we can hear the envious voices of other inn guests, it’s really awesome. The scenery seen in the room is the highest scenery in the Dong village. It is really beautiful. You can pet cats and play chess in the lobby, which is also very pleasant. There are a lot of people on the main street during the summer vacation, and there are even queues for restaurants. Room was clean and service is friendly, there is a porter who helped to carry our luggage from the observation deck to the hotel after the shuttle dropped us off. The family room is very large with three partitions: kids room, parents room and a small living area with sofa and writing desk.
They also provide washing machine and dryer for self service. The aircon in the room provides both heating and cooling function which is very useful for cold nights on the mountain.
To get to the village Main Street where all the performances, restaurants and attractions are, you will need to climb down the hill and back up again to return. Hence it’s not advisable for those with very young children or old people with mobility issues to stay here.

BBERNARD SCHACKISI came many times in this hotel, his location near the gate and beside the park is very quiet. No noise, no car. The staff don’t speak English but is really helpful and friendly. Hotel can provide tickets for the attractions at lower price, just ask them. Also they will tell you the best places to visit in the village. Breakfast is only local noddles but I found them delicious. Of course, if you have car, you need to park at the gate of the village and take a shuttle bus. This is mandatory. It was mainly the location of the hotel. It was the first hotel at the entrance of Dazhaimen. From the high-speed rail station, take the 10 yuan / person bus directly to Dazhaimen. You can tell the master to get off at the intersection of Jinzhang Palace and walk to the hotel in about 5 minutes. You are not afraid to go far when you drag your luggage! There is also a free sightseeing bus departure station in the village next to the hotel. Don't worry about the situation of getting on the bus at the stop. It is especially suitable for accompanying the elderly to visit the stockade by car! If you eat, you can walk less than 200 meters to have a good restaurant (you can also buy a group). The front desk service is also very good. I saw that there are elderly people in the same group and helped arrange the room on the second floor. The room is small but full of internal organs. There are hair dryers, bottled water, one-time supplies, daily cleaning, etc. on the top floor. There is also a balcony with a view of your own. Staying in the off-season is less than two hundred yuan a night. Very good value for money, it is recommended!

Pull the curtains, suddenly a spider 🕷️ that has been slapping the size of a palm jumped onto the bed, it scared me! Immediately ask the front desk to arrange a replacement. The lady at the front desk is okay, but the cleaning lady waited for half an hour and didn't come to change it! There is a chandelier with cobwebs on the top of the bed, I was afraid it would fall... I didn't know there was a bar nearby when I ordered it, and the singing kept ringing all night. Couldn't sleep at all this night. Thinking about returning the next day, let’s just pass by in one night... I will definitely not come again next time! !
