This hotel punches way above its price point. Everything about it was a pleasant surprise and compared favorably to higher level Marriotts. Picture a brand new Residence Inn with slightly miniaturized rooms (queen bed vs. king bed, 32 inch TV, etc.) and staffed by competent people. The jovial front desk attendant had a delightful sense of humor, knew how many towels were in the room, and had actually read our request for a feather free room. The shower was hot and hard and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. Rather than the bare bones fare served in a tiny breakfast nook that we've come to expect from Townplace Suites hotels, this one had a full hot spread served in a large comfortable seating area. I'm talking everything you'd expect to find in a good Residence Inn including bacon and sausage, multiple types or eggs, fresh make your own waffles, etc. All it lacked was cut up fruit. The hotel even had a hot whirlpool tub next to its indoor pool! One review had said that it was across the street from a prison, but I think that was a mistake. Actually the hotel was tucked away in a quiet well-landscaped upscale area of what appeared to us to be low rise office buildings. The area felt totally safe to us. We were so glad we chose to stay here and would definitely return.

Both the pool and hot tub worked, and the aquatic area was warm. A real delight, and one that is rare in lodging facilities.
