Booked to stay at Judds Folly for two nights as a friend was getting married here on the friday. Arrived Thursday and all seemed fine. Checked in and was shown to our room. The room I booked on the phone to them was a standard double room. What we got given could only be described as the box room. It had obviously been converted at some point to include the ensuite so they could increase capacity. Now my gripe tbh is only really with the shower. Yes the room was small but it was still clean and tidy and had everything you needed. We used the shower and it was clear there was no water pressure. The water was pouring out the back of the box. (Electric shower) so it was like a rubbish watering can coming out of the end. And to make it a bit worse when the toilet was flushed it stopped altogether. We reported it to reception friday morning to which the maintenance man was there so he went to fix the issue after I explained it to him. Give them there due's he went away and gave us the keys back an hour later saying it's been sorted. Winner! Until our departure day (sat morning) where the shower was exactly the same. Told reception on check out that we couldn't shower and there was hardly any apology. Now if they sort the issue, great no worries. But if anyone is given room 22 please check the shower first. Wedding was good! Grounds are good! Bar is good! Breakfast is great! Dont be put off by my review as my friends also stayed there and didnt have any issues.

We had our wedding at Judds Folly on Friday, and it truly was an unforgettable day! From the very beginning, Carlie was amazing—nothing was ever too much trouble. On the day itself, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Even when we experienced a power cut just two hours before the ceremony, I never felt stressed because everything was handled so smoothly. We ended up getting married by candlelight, which turned out to be perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, and the evening celebration was thoroughly enjoyed by all. A huge thank you to Carlie and the entire team at Judds Folly for making our day so special. Amy and Josh ☺️

We recently got married at Judds Folly Hotel & i cannot recommend this place enough! Everyone went above & beyond for our special day & it honestly couldnt have gone better! From the 1st meeting to checking out Carlie made sure everything was amazing! Everything for us was absolutely perfect, from the decorations, the help we recieved, the staff, all our rooms ( we had quite a few ) & the food. Everything & everyone was incredible & I honestly cant thank them enough for the most perfect day. ❤️ Highly Recommend!!!!!!

We had our wedding day here and our guests loved the location saying how the outside spaces were beautiful. Carlie ran the day like clockwork and we had an amazing day. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the whole team were friendly and helpful. Good choice of breakfast items. Highly recommended.
