This hotel has one of the very best locations in Swakopmund and also has a long family history. Great to see that the daughters and third generation owners are now running it. I cant wait to go back. Most pleasant hotel I have stayed in for a long time.

Schöne Unterkunft , in der Nähe des Strandes und Stadtzentrum. Das Frühstück war OK, Auswahl an Eiern und Buffet eher weniger Auswahl als sonst in Namibia gewohnt Das Anton Kaffee, das beim Hotel war, verkaufte verschiedene Gebäck und Kuchen und ich habe es am letzten Tag probiert , war sehr köstlich. Das Zimmer und Bad waren gut gereinigt. Wir hatten einen Balkon und auch einen Badewanne. Leider hat man von dem Balkon in Zimmer nebenan direkt auf unseren Bad geschaut so musste man Vorhänge zuziehen beim Badewanne Benützung. Personal war Freundlich und Hilfreich . Allerdings sind wir kurz von 18:00 angereist , so waren die , so kurz von Dienstschluss etwas in Stress , trotzdem Hilfreich und Freundlich . Danke

Charming old world atmosphere, friendly staff; comfortable bed, very clean. Breakfast ample and fabulous cafe with large variety of pastries and treats.

Staying in Hotel Schweizerhaus in Swakopmund was very pleasant. The hotel has a prime location in the city centre and close to the sea.

Lovely place to stay ,close to the beach and other amenities. Breakfast was OK, choice of eggs and buffet also ,the cafe that was by the hotel sold various pastry and cakes and choice of drinks, but I never used the cafe ,room was cleaned well ,but had 2 single beds,as opposed to 1 double, worth a stay if you stay in Swakopmund. And very close to the city centre.

The hotel is in swakopmund city center that you can walk to all tourists spot. The room is correct, WIFI works well. The buffet breakfast is good as well.

The hotel has a good bakery, but is a little bit outdated and noisy. Middle of centre, everything on walking distance.
