Meike ist eine sehr liebenswerte und warmherzige Gastgeberin. Immer hat sie ein offenes Ohr für die Fragen ihrer Gäste und gute Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurant Empfehlungen. Morgens zum Frühstück wurden wir stets von ihr persönlich begrüßt und ein Pläuschchen wurde gehalten. Meike und ihr Personal tun wirklich alles dafür, dass ihre Gäste sich wohlfühlen. Danke Meike für unseren tollen Aufenthalt bei Dir, es hat uns SEHR gut gefallen!

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen zweitägigen Aufenthalt. Meike hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und schön eingerichtet. Die kleine Anlage ist heimelig mit einer schöner Blumen- und Pflanzenoase. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und man bekommt tolle Tipps von Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Meikes Guesthouse is well known to us. We always felt warmly welcomed, enjoyed the rooms decorated with lots of love, the beautiful garden corners and, of course, the very good service and breakfast. Einmal Meike´s Guesthouse immer Meike´s Guesthouse Wenn uns unsere Reiseroute nach Swakopmund führt wird nicht lange überlegt, wo wir Übernachten. Die Wahl fällt immer wieder auf dieses mit unglaublich viel Liebe geführte Guesthouse. Meike und Klaus sind tolle Gastgeber mit einem sehr engagierten Team. Tipps rund um den Aufenthalt inklusive der Buchung von Ausflügen und Restaurants sind hier selbstverständlich. Die Lage ist perfekt, die Innenstadt ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das gesamte Guesthouse ist sehr gepflegt. Der wunderschöne Garten mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail angelegt. Die großzügigen Zimmer mit großem Badezimmer sind immer im top Zustand. Die Zimmerausstattung mit Wlan, ausreichend Steckdosen, guten Ablagemöglichkeiten, Safe, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher und Fernseher lassen keine Wünsche übrig. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und eine Heizung (auch im Bad) sorgt bei kalten Temperaturen für mollige Wärme. Über Sauberkeit braucht man sich hier keine Gedanken zu machen, denn es ist alles Tip top. Hinzu kommt ein ausgezeichnetes Frühstück an dem sich so manche Lodge ein Beispiel nehmen könnte. Der Innenhof ist so großzügig, dass alle Autos dort sicher parken können. In diesem Guesthouse kann man sich einfach nur rundherum wohl fühlen! Wir kommen wieder, kein Frage!

Das Guesthouse ist ideal gelegen, man ist in wenigen Minuten in der kleinen Innenstadt. Die Zimmer sind tiptop, das Frühstück ausgezeichnet. Die deutschen Gastgeber sind sehr nett, geben hilfreiche Tipps und buchen auch gerne ein Restaurant. Wir können Kückis Pub und besonders das Jetty empfehlen. Höhepunkt war die Kanutour mit Pelican Point Kayaking. Die Robben sind sehr zutraulich, trotz "wasserdichter" Kleidung am besten Hosen und Socken zum Wechseln mitnehmen.

Good place to stay in Swakopmund. Meike and the other staff are incredibly hospitable. The room was standard and clean. We could park the car safely inside the gate and operate it ourselves by remote control. Breakfast is very tasty and diverse. Location is very good. You can walk right into the center. Wifi is moderate. We enjoyed our stay here.
