I love this hotel. I am a regular traveller and this is my 5th visit to this hotel. I always enjoy my visits here. Staff are extremely helpful, rooms are great and it has a lovely ambience. Breakfast is sumptuous with wide variety. Gym is well equipped and always clean. I have nothing but praise for the hotel. The restaurants are very good but visitors should note that it is 50% to 60% more expensive than similar food in similar restaurants outside hotel.

Very nice hotel overall. The rooms we had were a bit worn but still quite nice. The public areas were also very nice and in good repair. But where The Strand shined is the staff. Everyone from drive-up to drive away was so very nice. A special shout out to Zena, Thank You for everything. Overall we had a delightful stay and will stay again when we are back in Swakopmund.

Big thank you to Shepard,Gerdus and other management. We checked in as a group of friends - consensus is the hotel punch above its weight!! Breakfast was great, location scenic and pieceful, hotel Is modern with good variety of restaurants! A pool would be nice but I am sure it’s coming. Rooms are really good and spacious- the coffeemakers in the suites are very nice! The hotel Planned nice excursions! Thank you for the care and making our trip special- We will be back!!
