Good accommodation, there is an elevator to the room on the 3rd floor, complete breakfast, and you can leave your luggage here. Next time I come to Svolvaer, I will stay here again.

The hotel with self-check-in (code comes via SMS, worked well) is simple but functional - our room had a shower area with the toilet in it, which took a bit of getting used to, but it was clean and OK. A large fridge-freezer combination in the room was also part of the equipment... Without air conditioning, the not very large rooms get warm quickly, but it was OK for us. The location is a bit away from the harbor center (there is a private marina nearby, hence the name). The breakfast was surprisingly good and had a lot of choice - for the rather high price level, even in the Lofoten Islands, the hotel is definitely an option. The wooden terrace in front of the hotel is a feature for your own picnics, and there are also two kitchens available for use.

The hotel is a bit run down, bathrooms are small and the toilet is in the shower. The breakfast selection wad small and I had a hair in my scrambled eggs on the first day. The elevator was broken so I had to carry luggage up the stairs. Location is a bit out of town, but Svolvær is small and it doesn't take long to get anywhere. It's about a 10-15min walk to town. But the staff were so lovely and helpful.
