We were welcomed by the sweetest receptionist. We went for a walk and when we came back we got a room with the finest view towards the water (upgrade) Thanks We had booked a 5-course menu, which we certainly did not regret. Really fantastic food, wine and good service. The breakfast was also very delicious. Could have used a couple of bathrobes for the morning dip, so it is hereby passed on. We would love to come again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

it would be very hard indeed to improve this hotel. The location is perfect, the staff friendly and helpful, the food delicious and the rooms extremly comfortable.

Magnifique hôtel récemment rénové. Chambres spacieuses et très agréable. Emplacement idyllique en bord de mer avec un magnifique jardin paysagé. Vue exceptionnelle. Restaurant gastronomique sur place. Parking gratuit. Un seul défaut, buffet petit déjeuner un peu restreint pour ce type d'hôtel. Parfait pour un séjour détente ou pour visiter cette partie de la Fionie.

Une vue splendide Un grand jardin qui invite à se reposer dans un de ses beaux fauteuils parsemés dans l’espace. Surtout une très belle accessibilité pour aller se baigner . Le personnel est accueillant à l’écoute. Par contre nous avons été déçus par le fait de 2 grands groupes qui monopolisaient l’hôtel : il n’y avait plus rien au petit déjeuner et il n’y avait plus de places pour y dîner alors que c’était une des raisons de notre passage.

The perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway or holiday. Nice rooms, beautiful view, very delicious food and nice and helpful staff. I would very much recommend Stella Maris. A little bit pricy, but everything met our (high) expectations.

Es passte einfach alles. Lage, Hotel, Service und Küche. Wir würden dieses Haus jedem der Erholung und Entspannung sucht für einen Aufenthalt empfehlen. Das Personal zuvorkommen und hilfsbereit sowohl an der Rezeption und im Restaurant. Die Küche hervorragend.

Everything was lovely. The site next to Svendborgsund could not be better. The hotel is a beautiful building, old and historic, but new restored. Nice people everywhere. And the morningswim in the cold ocean made me happy. Last time, more than 15 years ago, we visited Stella Maris was it oldfashioned missionary hotel. And I love the few memories from that time you see around at the hotel Og nu de historiske aspekter uddybet lidt videre, men på dansk på grund af det lokale aspekt: Jeg er barnefødt på egnen (for mange år siden). Kogtvedparken og Wiggers Parken med alle de tætliggende huse i området tilhørte engang mine bedsteforældre, som har bygget det ældre, røde hus overfor. Det var dengang en givtig hestehandlervirksomhed med hestestalde og store, langstrakte hestefolde med græssende heste overalt.

We went on their Easter Stay and had a great experience. Truly friendly, helpful staff committed to making their place a success. Great food, drinks, rooms - and of course the view. Longing to go back ind the summer as well to enjoy more of the beautiful surroundings.
