The reception is separate. The guesthouse itself is a separate house with 5 rooms. There is a living room with the necessary set of dishes for cooking.
For check-in at the reception they give you a code for the box where the keys to the room are.
Breakfast - you need to take it from the refrigerator yourself - sliced sausage, cheese, bread, juice, yogurt, cereal.

Most generous and warm guest house. Its an authentic iceland house convert to guesthouse. We are happy to have an experience to stay like a local. Owner let us use her washing machine and dryer, loaded the fridge with fruits and local food for self service breakfasts and hot tub to have a wonderful evening experience. Highly recommended.

Wished we had read the directions for the hot tub before it had gotten too late for us. We were able to enjoy the northern lights from just outside the back door. This location would be perfect for a small group of families.

When travelling through on the ring road, just stay here. Rooms are nice, and the shared bathrooms well kept. Very nice kitchen, well stocked for breakfast! Rural setting with Icelandic horses nearby.

Highly recommended!!
It is a very comfortable villa with a few rooms and 2 shared bathrooms.
The bathrooms are very spacious and nicely decorated.
Just like the whole villa : cosy!
Open kitchen, with everything you need.
Bedrooms themselves are not large, but there is still plenty of practical space.
Highly recommended!!
