Etangs du Moulin

We stayed here for one night on our way back to Calais. It's a quirky site, themed around the wild west, with cloth-covered wagons and a western style saloon bar/cafe. Facilities good, staff really friendly and helpful. We are in the campsite restaurant and had a delicious meal, cooked by a young male chef. The wood burner in the restaurant was very welcome on a chilly, damp evening! Campsite was quiet as it was the end of season but all facilities were available. Great setting, with ponds and wildlife (a fellow guest saw a coypu in one of the lakes!). Definitely recommend for a unique place to stay.

An excellent holiday camp atmosphere and very quiet in June when I usually go. I'm a WW1 Student and more or less everything is close to here. The Caverne Du Dragon is half hour away (but difficult to visit if only English speaker). This camp site is the baby of Agnes &Sebastian Jakisa and Agnes being the very heart and a good speaker of English. The Camp site had the challenge of covid and the compulsory installation of an industrial aerial which Agnes fought hard against. I'm sure this had a lot of strain on Agnes and I was very sad to hear that Agnes passed away last year of a heart attack... I just had my latest holiday at the camp and glad to see it has barely changed in the two years I was last there except for a few new luxury cabins and spa... It is a great place for a chill out time and barbecues outside your cabin... Great for family time and thoughtful kids...and study Can order criossants for the morning and their coffee is the real deal barista type...

Came back from a day out to discover every pitch around us being used by children, every pitch including ours that is! Hosts don't speak English at all. Very poor planning to put us on a pitch when they knew they had a large group of children (30+) booked for a mini fiesta. Potential to be a lovely site. Family holiday ruined.
