Pinyuan Homestay (Suzhou Humble Administrator's Garden Guanqian Street Branch)

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay! The owner was incredibly kind and helpful — even going the extra mile to help us collect a parcel before we arrived. Truly above and beyond! The place itself is beautiful and full of charm. The view from the property is absolutely stunning — a sweeping, picturesque scene that feels like something out of a postcard. The yard is also lovely and well-kept, perfect for relaxing after a day out. One of the highlights was the unique coffee table with a small pond built into it — complete with fish swimming around! Such a creative and peaceful touch that added to the relaxing atmosphere. Do keep in mind that this is a homestay, so don’t expect the same level of spotless cleanliness you might find in a high-end hotel — but everything was comfortable and cozy nonetheless. Another point to note is that the smell of the burning mosquito coil was very strong during my stay. One small note: if you’re arriving by taxi, be aware that the place is located down a narrow alley, so it might be a bit tricky for the cab to get all the way in. Still, it’s worth the short walk for the peaceful setting. Highly recommended for travelers looking for a local, heartfelt experience!

It is an unbelievably beautiful house kept in old harmonious style. The room that was provided for us is spacious, and it has many authentic old items to make dozens of photos. But what really impressed us was a table in the living room with water and real living fish in it! The bed is very comfortable. The linen and towels are impeccably clean and soft. The toilet contains a shower - everything is very clean and modern. Th owner is a very friendly and ready to help person, though communication is possible only via electronic translator. Проживание в этом красивом доме декорированном в старином стиле, даёт возможность ощутить Суджоу совершенно в ином ракурсе. Предоставляемая комната - просторная с большой кроватью и множеством вычурных старинных предметов, ширмочек, музыкальных инструментов, с которыми можно сделать десятки фотографий. А стол в гостиной вообще нас поразил - в нем выдолблен аквариум и плавают живые рыбки. Дом находится недалеко от главных парков и канала. В душевой и туалете вся сантехника современная и безупречно чистая. Рядом на улице много едален, в том числе и малатан, который мы безуспешно искали в других городах. Хозяин - очень симпатичный человек, добрый и заботливый. Жаль, что общаться можно только через переводчик. Если кто-то заинтересован в аренде национальной китайской одежды разных эпох, это можно сделать в лавочках вдоль канала. Стоимость от 85 юаней и выше. Однозначно рекомендуем этот дом доя проживания! И благодарим хозяина, который разрешил нам оставить вещи после указанного часа.

This homestay was awesome! Deco full with Suzhou vibes🤣 It was in the middle of alley,need to look up for the entrance door. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. The location is not too far from the tourist spot. I should plan more days to spend here. Highly recommended!

It is located a walking distance from the Metro Station. Warm welcome from the host. Nice to stay in a traditional home.
