Amazing cultural stay among the historical site of Suzhou! Changyuan 畅圆 is really beautiful and nothing beats experiencing Suzhou than staying within one of the rare classical gardens (园林). Booked the Deluxe Room and loved the privacy and garden view. Absolutely loved the amenities too — from TOTO bathroom fittings to Dyson hairdryer, everything exceeded expectations. Only downside is that it’s pretty far from attractions and it’s quite a walk to the main road. Will be great if you’re looking to stay away from the ccrowd and prefers a more peaceful and quiet location. The staff are warm, friendly and very helpful too, thanks so much 小姚 and 小马!

To actually stay inside one of Suzhou's private gardens was a wonderful experience. Sitting outside in the courtyard beside the pond eating the delicious breakfast was a highlight. We were looked after so well by Amber and Nicoie who assisted us at all times and added to the experience. We enjoyed a late-night cocktail in the historic room that the bar is located it. Stay here, and stay in your own piece of beautiful Suzhou history

On a stormy night, we arrived at Changyuan Youxiong, which was temporarily added for weekend tours. As soon as we opened the door, we were overwhelmed by the sense of comfort and relaxation: spacious and bright space, just the right decoration, lazy sofa, warm yellow table lamp, festive lollipops, and delicious desserts, which made our slightly uneasy heart jump for joy and fall asleep in joy. The non-stop heavy rain on the second morning made the small and beautiful Changyuan even more quiet and elegant, with deep green tiles, winding pavilions, green plants, and colorful fish playing in lotus. Brew a pot of tea and savor the good times. Thank you for the front desk arranging to upgrade to the quietest view suite in the hotel when we checked in, and thank you for Xiao Luo at the front desk for enthusiastically helping us take pictures in Changyuan when we checked out. I hope that the quality of breakfast will be as small and exquisite as the garden view when I stay next time.

The hotel rooms are fully equipped and the customer service is very accommodating. We have been upgraded to a deluxe room. If you have any requests, you can make them through WeChat. A bear cake was given on the day of check-in, and a flower for the lady❤️Desserts and candies were given on the second night🍬The customer service at the front desk was very good. If you need to go out, a golf cart can be used to take the guests to the alley, which is very considerate. Every scene in the garden is beautiful and antique, and the garden is filled with the fragrance of osmanthus, which makes people feel comfortable. It happened to rain the next morning. I didn't like rain at first. I was sitting in the restaurant listening to the sound of rain falling into the pool. I was suddenly immersed in the sound of rain and felt very relaxed and happy! You have to stay in a garden hotel when you come to Suzhou. Xiong Changyuan is worth experiencing! The whole house is heated, smart toilet, Dyson hair dryer, Bulgari toiletries, rever bath ball, Voss mineral water, bear welcome cake (echoing the hotel name "bear") and fruit, Tewei tea bags, algebraist drip coffee bags, minibar is basically imported food, and the quality specifications are high enough👍 The soundproofing problem mentioned in some reviews was not felt at all. The room and the garden were very quiet. The breakfast on the second day was semi-self-service. Bread, porridge, yogurt, etc. were self-service. There were two choices of Suzhou style and Western style. Each choice contained a rich variety. I chose Suzhou style red soup Aozao noodles with smoked fish toppings. The steamed food with it included siu mai, buns, coarse grains, etc. The taste was still good. The overall stay experience was very good. It was worth the room price. I strongly recommend that tourists who come to Suzhou to experience the feeling of living in the garden immersively.

From the design, supplies, to the service, they are all in place. We went in and out several times, and the housekeeper always used a small shuttle bus to pick us up at the alley entrance. So it didn't feel inconvenient at all. There is also afternoon tea in the garden, happy hour at the bar...so it is also a good choice for friends to get together. I met Xiao Xue and Xiao Luo on the day of checking out. The cute little girl works very hard. In fact, the boys are also good...I hope to continue the good quality so that the old guests of Youxiong will always follow you.

It is very comfortable to live in the garden, especially in Suzhou in autumn. The floor heating in the room is well received, the turndown service is also very considerate, especially the bedding, which is the kind that you don't want to get up after lying down. Both afternoon tea and breakfast are very good. The housekeepers Xiao Yao and Xiao Han arranged the whole process very well. It is a place suitable for relaxing. The only drawback is that the courtyard is still a bit noisy during the day because of the visiting tourists.

It feels great to live in a Suzhou garden! Pavilions, towering ancient trees, sitting by the water, I feel like I own it all. The housekeepers, Xiao Luo and Xiao Xue, are very warm and considerate. They helped me upgrade the basic room type to a landscape suite. Standing on the terrace of the room, I can see the crape myrtle and the black tiles against each other, and the pomegranate trees with fruits leaning against the pink wall. It's beautiful.
