Hotels near Caoxie Mountain Ruins, Suzhou

A very cost-effective hotel, for two examples: the location is Guanqian Street on the side of Pingjiang Road, 900 meters to Subo, 600 meters to the new Suzhou landmark Cang Street, Suzhou Station is two subway stations, too suitable for Suzhou City to travel freely. The price is about 250 yuan, the room is spacious and clean, especially the bathing sanitation facilities are new and the configuration standard is referred to the four-star hotel. The experience of staying for one night is very good. We booked 8 rooms and it feels like this.

Nice to stay here for a night and check out the area and wonderful parks and running / cycling opportunities around here... The hotel and room is fine but a lot of smoking nearby and in the rooms. Also if you are not into seafood then you'll need to go walking further away or bring your own food! Friendly staff...

Facilities: Facilities are complete. Hygienic: clean and tidy. Environment: The environment is good, the room layout is reasonable, although it does not look very new, but it feels very comfortable. Service: Warm and thoughtful. The room price is moderate, there is free parking downstairs, convenient parking.

Convenience stores and restaurants are within easy reach. It takes about ten minutes to walk to Wanda Plaza. If you don't want to go out for dinner, you can easily order takeaway. The hotel has a special food delivery robot to deliver food to the door of the room, which is really convenient. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming, the hotel was also very close to the subway station, and it was one of the most cost-effective hotels around Disney. Never checked in to check out, the whole process was very satisfied!

A decent hotel, though quite far out from the main action. The breakfast buffet a notable highlight. Shower great. No real complaints though the smell of nicotine from previous occupiers not a strong selling point.

The staff were soo polite when we arrived and helpful. It was the little touches that made us feel special...example it was really hot and they brought us a complimentary Ice Lemon Tea which was so refreshing. And another day we were waiting for a taxi and they brought us each a bottle of water. Just so kind. And the rooms were so clean and well decorated. And loved the sheets, pillows and bed. Was so comfortable and had a great night's sleep. Overall a wonderful hotel and customer service experience.

The room was very clean and hygienic, and it was very quiet to sleep at night. The hotel's breakfast was pretty good👍. There was an elderly person in my group, and the service staff was warm and thoughtful, helping the elderly to walk up and down the elevator platform on the first floor, which left a deep impression on me. If you’re looking for a perfect 4 star venue in the city centre then look no further! This place is a good bargain all round the year and even in peak seasons. I am going to split my review into sections so bare with me. 1) Rooms: The outdated the rooms need a serious paint jobs and the couch is quite “scratchy” material wise. Despite the interior eye sore, the flats are quite cosy with everything you need. Scenery wise , those who aren’t afraid of heights request the balcony rooms ! Maybe they don’t have the views of the shanghai centre shopping mall but the evening breeze did put me to sleep like a baby! Also the television was well packed with nostalgic movies , I really enjoyed the entertainment. Although the TV volume doesn’t go too loud , I guess it’s good respect to the neighbors some of who are long term tenants. 2) Service: Impeccable. The people here, although clearly overworked are so nice! The housekeepers are all so wonderful ! They were the ones who let me come back to a clean flat everyday , really it was a piece of home with a whole lot of help! For shampoos and conditioners and shower gel you would need to let the front desk know you need it, so please keep that in mind! 3) Breakfast: Just enough for survival , I’m quite particular about my tastes in food where the buffet options were too less and unfortunately not too tasty. But I was able to survive…I really hope they can fix this though cause the place although cheaper than others isn’t exactly cheap as well. If you want a good breakfast spread , you will be left heavily disappointed. There’s a lot of cost cutting the hotel group has done and it’s obvious…I hope Ascott takes this into consideration cause it’s not good to have better hotels around the world but keep smaller cities forgotten and tightly budgeted!! Suzhou is quite expensive than other cities due to the constant influx of tourists. I don’t usually write much for my reviews but In this case I seem to care after seeing the overworked hotel staff and the poor conditions around them. Come on Ascott do better. I initially was tempted to give a 3/5 review stars but it’s the people that pushed it up.

The hotel is on the lake shore, quite quiet and beautiful place. The metro station is not very far, you can get to the city center in 40 min by metro. There is a kettle in the room and tea for brewing, as well as bottles of water. The rooms are clean, tidy and spacious. There is a relatively small selection of dishes for breakfast, but they are quite hearty. The gym is a couple of exercise bikes in a room with washing machines. Staff do not speak English, can communicate through online translators. However, the staff try very hard to help. I wanted to mention a Kangyating staff member who helped organize airport transfers and tracked every step of the trip.

The hotel is located at the intersection of Chengbei Avenue and Huanqing Road. The location is easy to find. Check-in is on the second floor. The environment is elegant, the room facilities are complete, the bedding is comfortable, and there is a midnight snack on the second floor from 21:30 to 23:00! The front desk called us to tell us, which is very considerate! The service is good, the hotel staff are very good, and they all greeted us. Breakfast is also on the second floor. There are many dishes and they are also rich. It is a hotel worth recommending. I will stay in this hotel next time I come here!
