Suwon Station The Gallery Hotel

The price is cheap, about a 5-minute walk from Suwon Station. There are many food shops nearby, and there is also a Moneybox where you can exchange money. The double room has space for a 20-inch suitcase, and free instant noodles and coffee are provided.

It is a new, clean hotel near the subway station, but you can feel that they do not welcome Thai people. The counter staff made a very displeased face and used words when we went down to get drinking water at the counter because the water in the room was gone without us having any coffee, snacks or noodles that the hotel had prepared. They said, "Na kasjuseiyo". We could not understand at that time, so we went back to translate in the room. 나가 주세요 = Please leave. I felt very disappointed. I am not sure if they wanted us to leave the food area or the hotel. Even though we paid, it was like they were asking us to stay for free. We booked for 2 nights and paid for it, so we had to stay and leave early in the morning. If you do not want Thai people to stay, you should specify it in the details of your stay so that we would not book. It was a very disappointing trip for this Korean person. (I am not generalizing, some Korean people are very nice to Thai people.)
