The location of the hotel is quite convenient, and it is worthy of its cost performance. There is a fast food restaurant and a gas station nearby, but the hotel does not provide breakfast. I would recommend eating breakfast at a nearby store. The hotel staff are quite friendly and enthusiastic in service.

Staff was very kind and overall what was expected from a motel 6 for the amenities. But the room was filthy. They kindly changed my room but there was still a smell unfortunately. The one good thing was the water pressure in the shower! 10/10 for that!

The staff was super nice. The outside of the hotel was nice, but that’s where it ended. There was a smell that permeated the entire hotel…a musty, sweaty, dirty smell. It was in the room! The room was seemingly clean, but that musty, dank and dirty smell was everywhere. I actually didn’t realize how bad it was until I had been driving for about an hour and realized the smell was all over me! I had a shower before going to bed and felt clean and smelled fine. But after sleeping in the bed, the stank was all over me. I have never been so thankful for a shower when I got home. Motel 6 is a budget hotel I realize, but I’ve always have had great experiences. Always clean and for the most part, a comfy, quick stop on my travels. The Sutherlin one didn’t hit the mark.

A Noisy Neighbor in Sutherland Everything was fine but the walls were thin and we had a very noisy neighbor who left the tv on all night. The staff was great but couldn’t do anything about the facility’s short comings.

Unfortunately the room had sunflower seed shells all on the one side of the bed by the window and was so noisy being by the back entrance of the we assumed when they said they locked the doors at 10:00 p.m. they would do so people were in and out all night finally got up at 1:30 and checked out 2:00 couldn't sleep for adults other than that the room was nice

Very basic This is a HOTEL style of accommodation, with interior doors to the room. The elevator takes forever to close (2 minutes), there are no tissues provided in the room (have to use the towels or the rough toilet paper), and one has to request shampoo from the front desk. One can clearly hear voices from the next room over as well as their snoring. Doors close with a resounding slam. The nice, new floor planks are not all correctly butted together. There are no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms. Otherwise, the condition of the hotel and the rooms are nearly new. No breakfast is available, except for coffee.

We showed up at 2AM—me, my wife, and our two kids. My wife was in tears, just desperate to sleep. The moment we walked in, the room was clearly dirty: trash still in the can, floor not swept—but at 2AM, getting my wife into a bed took priority over anything else. When the sun came up, we saw it all. Used sheets. No clean towels. Hairballs and debris on the floor. Overflowing trash. A used menstrual pad on the floor. Yes. A used pad. In the room we were supposed to sleep in. I grabbed my family and got the hell out. I showed the front desk employee the mess. He agreed it was disgusting. Gave me half my money back and promised the manager would call. Guess what? No one ever called. Shame on you, Motel 6. This is not just bad hospitality—it’s neglect. It’s a health hazard. It’s traumatizing when your exhausted wife is in tears and this is what you hand her at 2 in the morning. You owe us more than a refund. You owe every guest better than this. Photos attached. The property definitely needs some attention. Unkept outside grounds (weeds and tall grass). The inside was definitely worn and old to include stains on sink and tub. Stains on bedding and bed frame. There was an old, musty smell. The tv picture was blurry maybe due to old appliance or poor connectivity. Overall. I would not recommend this property compared to other Motel 6 properties.
