Hyatt House Lewes/Rehoboth Beach

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Everything is clean, sleek design, delicious breakfast. The decor and styling is beautiful. The pool area is kept well. The outdoor area with firepit is super cute.

Great breakfast - especially love the breakfast burrito option, and the fresh fruit! Workout room is one of the best I've seen at a hotel - not huge but the treadmills, bikes, and weights are very high quality. Huge indoor pool also. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Our daughter got sick on our vacation so we ended up spending almost 2 days just hanging out in the room. We were very happy to have a suite with a sofa and a newer TV to watch movies on. Would gladly stay here again!

As frequent guests of this hotel, we’ve come to expect a consistently high level of service—and once again, it did not disappoint. Although we had booked our nights separately as award stays, we were pleasantly surprised to find that they had already been combined into a single reservation upon arrival. Additionally, our room was ready around 12 pm, well before the standard 4 pm check-in time, which we truly appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful experience—highly recommended!

Front desk staff were THE best I've ever encountered. Only drawback was the cleaning services weren't able to get to one of our rooms.

Staff was super friendly and they responded to our needs very quickly. But it could use some maintenance, there was a big white stain in the carpet in the hallway and our shower had some mold spots in crevices. In the description they say “full kitchen” but the fridge is very small, it’s your typical half size fridge. Everything else was good. Breakfast had good variety and filling. Overall our stay was enjoyable.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my stay at Hyatt House Lewes on May 24th. As a Globalist who frequently stayed at the hotel since opening, I have always appreciated the level of service and cleanliness provided. However, this experience was profoundly unsatisfactory. Upon pulling out the sofa bed, I was shocked to find food crumbs scattered throughout, no cover sheet, and—most disturbingly—a **diaper wedged between the armrest and the bed**. This is a clear indication that housekeeping failed to properly clean and maintain the room, which is entirely unacceptable. I took a photo of the diaper and sent it to the front desk. While a staff member promptly came to remove the item, I was expecting a more appropriate response—such as an offer to change rooms or a meaningful accommodation. Instead, no further action was taken, leaving me to feel that the severity of the situation was not properly addressed. Cleanliness and guest experience should be top priorities in any reputable hotel, and the failure to rectify this issue was disappointing. I hope to hear from you regarding how this matter will be addressed to ensure future guests do not encounter similar issues. I look forward to your response. Justin
