Quite dated. No elevator - multiple trips to the second floor room. Dead bug on bathroom floor. Tub barely drained after a shower. The a/c wasn't on so the room was extremely hot and took a long time to cool down after we turned it on. It was cooler when we returned from getting supper. Breakfast is standard fare. Breakfast eating area was very small and crowded. Luckily we got the last table but felt rushed to eat because people were lining up. Felt sorry for the families with kids and older folks having to stand in line. We won't stay here again and don't recommend it.

One night stay with brother and dad. Had two rooms, 117 and 120. One was an accessible queen and other two queens, Both rooms were very clean with modern amenities. AC worked great. Breakfast was standard waffle, cereal, toast, etc. For the price this was a great value and I recommend.

I really hesitate to leave a negative review, however this experience was not great. The front desk clerk was friendly and quick to remedy our concerns . The room was large, but had no chairs or couch, just a huge empty space. There was no where to sit except on the bed. Then we noticed there was no smoke detector, just wires hanging out of the wall. When we addressed this with the front desk clerk, he told us it was chirping so he removed it. What??!! The fact they whet were okay to still sell this room told me that do not care about guest safety. We were placed in another room, which had chairs & a smoke detector. The bed was comfortable, nice pillows. it had a good size mini fridge, microwave, small bathroom, and a large sink area outside the bathroom. The hot water took about 5 min to warm up. The room was fairly clean, but had stains on the carpet & chair. It’s 2 stories (no elevator) outside doors. We didn’t have the breakfast, but looked to have waffles, cereal, pastries, and yogurt. No eggs or meat. I would not recommend this hotel.

Great independence place. Booked solely off other people's recent reviews, as we normally don't stop at independent brands. I believe the owner is who checked us in, he was extremely hospitable. This is a motel style stay and he walked the outside of the building as we drove to show us to our room. Very clean rooms. Great price. It was November so pool was closed but outside pool looks very enjoyable for a warmer stay. Definitely will make this a planned stop when traveling this route. Also there is a honestly dinner The Copper Pot across the street I would recommend.

Good place for a pit stop for a night. Friendly staff, ok free breakfast, easy access to Hwy, and a huge truck stop next door for a quick meal and then time to roll. Checkin was a bit slow due to the use of a dot matrix printer. Parking is Free and well lit.

Had to stay here after we could not find any other hotel with vacancy on our driving trip home to Pennsylvania. The carpet and chair stained. The sink was clogged and no water would go down. Called and they came and tried to unclog the sink with gross stuff everywhere in the sink area. They said it would not be an issue and we could stay in the room. I asked for another room as it would have to be sanitized and cleaned before someone could use it. They did take to another room where the door handle was broken. He showed me using the key and you supposedly had to hold the handle up and use the key to get in. When I tried to open without a key the door opened with no key. We tried with the dead bolt, and also would open with no key. We stayed as my 5 year old was asleep and I could not find anywhere else to go. We put the chair in front of the door and the top manually lock was able to be used so at least the door would only open a little bit.

On a recent weekend visit of Mt Airy we found this place on line. The rooms were very clean and the motel well run The staff was friendly and accommodating to our request for a room to play cards in. Breakfast was very fresh and tasty. Great coffee. All around great experience.

DON’T TAKE OFF YOUR SHOES! No chairs—no place to sit except the beds even though there is a table; NASTY carpet; hair dryer doesn’t work; NO chair (nothing to sit on except the bed; NO warm OR hot water in sink after running 7 minutes but 2 hours later IMMEDIATELY upon turning on sink water, it was SCALDING HOT; sink faucet extremely hard to turn on/off; only a trickle of water from shower head; wallpaper peeling; old furniture; doors need paint; bed skirts on both beds have holes; musty odor from ac. Had to go buy Febreeze to try to rid the smell. The good reviews could not possibly be from someone who stayed there.

Older Hotel the room was clean smelled a bit musty. We didn't had a microwave but that's okay. Again with older Hotels it has not much outlets for all your gadgets. It has a nice Pool and the location is right off I-77. We would stay again if we are in this area again
