Surin Nai Mueang Hotels

It is one of the cleanest hotels in Surin that I have stayed at many times. However, the road is a bit narrow. At night, it is quite dark. It is a pity that there are not many convenience stores within walking distance. You have to drive out.

I stayed at The Wood late last year and was very impressed by the hotel layout and design. The comfortable rooms and their unique style. The affable and friendly staff. And the amazing breakfast offered. So when I returned to Surin I knew where I would stay. Oh and the location is great too. Near many restaurants in eateries, bars and cafes. Highly recommended.

Stayed in room 924 on May 16, 2025 and found that 1. The bathroom drain cover was not closed properly. Be careful when taking a shower. If you accidentally kick it, you will definitely get a bloody bruise. 2. The drinking glass that was placed for drinking water was dirty and had dust in it, as if it had not been washed. 3. The old refrigerator was loud. It definitely disturbed my rest. 4. Surprisingly, there were 2 guests staying. The hotel gave me 1 key card. When I went to ask for more, the staff said that there was a deposit of 300 baht and the deposit could only be in cash. It could not be transferred or deposited by credit card. At that time, I did not bring cash down, so I said that I would come back to pay when I returned. So I told the staff that it was unreasonable for 2 guests staying and only 1 key card. If someone went out, when they returned, they would have to be woken up to open the door for the other person to enter the room. It really did not make sense. The staff said that the key card was lost and not enough. That was an internal problem that the hotel had to consider managing and fixing. After about 2 hours, the staff contacted me to ask for the key card deposit back. The customer did not have to deposit anymore, which showed a lack of professionalism. I assure you that everything that happened was true.

New accommodation, convenient and comfortable. The walkway smells like a spa. I really like it. The breakfast is delicious, the price is good, the room is excellent, the room is big, the bathroom is big, very nice. P.S. I would like to have a toothbrush as well.

The gaps on the handrails are too wide including the balcony railings. Small children may fall in. Other than that, it's good, clean, and the service is good.

Walk 5-6 minutes from the bus terminal. Close to a small night market. It is very quiet and the room is spacious and comfortable. This is not a blackout curtain, so it is very bright in the morning. There is no breakfast, but bananas, snacks and coffee are provided on the table next to the sofa on the first floor.
