The hotel looks like it’s a great stay until you see the wood decking is in need of repair as the boards do not even sit on the joist! Then you open the room and the overwhelming musty smell smacks you in the face! We opened the window and door to attempt to air it out but it wasn’t enough!
The towels are basically rags
The high note is the woman who works there. She is very pleasant and got us “newer” towels quickly.

Mixed bag
We booked two nights and our key cards were expired after just 1 night.
The bath towels were tiny and no extras.
It would have been nice to have had a view. The property was not filled and we were placed in the corner with no view.

We had a great trip to Surf City. Our room was very clean and easy walking distance to the beach. The kitchen was a plus for breakfast. We will be back for sure.

The service was a little different. We had no maid service. So we had to go across the street to get clean towels. Other than that it was a good place to stay.

The motel was nice and quiet. Just a quick walk to the beach. Unfortunately the elevator and the pool (on the beach side) were out of order. We had to walk up and down 3 flights all weekend. The bathroom was a little small. But overall it was a nice place to stay for a quick beach trip and I would go again.

Very basic motel. I did not find it very clean. The refrigerator is dorm sized. The location is what makes the motel great
