Very nice but not much to do

It was a great experience for us to come to a new country together the staff are amazing and the facilities were fantastic the rooms were great very clean would love to come back again soon

Just returned from 7nights in imperial resort , overall a lovely holiday , the staff in this hotel especially both managers Alexander and Rado are a credit to the hotel , Alexander helped us with directions and also what to avoid ( taxi) the food was plentiful and fresh we choose to eat out most night but again that was our choice we used the snack bar outside which great for afternoon snacks , the only downside of this holiday was the guests we found a lot of them very rude and hostile it cost nothing to be polite but that’s nothing to do with management I do think they try there best in a difficult situation .

All the reviews seemed to good to be true....the hotel is nice, but it has a few things that stop it from being better than it was! Check in was absolute chaos!!! People stood everywhere. It was like a train station!! Only we had been dropped off!! The hotel is very grand with a lovely staircase upon entry. The hotel is quite big and has 3 pools. The pool with the splash park was the busiest. People were apparently up at 6/7 am to reserve sunbeds!! This wasn't as bad by the second pool. Both pools and the splash park were not just cold, they were absolutely freezing!!! This may be because the pools are not fully in the sun. The indoor pool was always too busy so we didn't get to try that. My daughter tried kids club once. She was ignored by the staff until another parent asked if the older kids could do something other than draw a picture with blunt pencils. We were told they could paint a pot or decorate a very thin tshirt for 25lev! Kids disco at night was the standard kind of thing. Evening entertainment was very average. Most of the bar staff have the same facial expression every day. That could be down to the many customers who seem to think that manners are optional. Adults and kids going to the bar and just saying "vodka" or "coke" then taking the drink and walking off. Same in the dining halls. Adults and kids pushing infront of people queuing for the fresh food. The rudeness by other customers was something ive not encountered this bad anywhere! The staff said its not the brits, its other nationalities. At breakfast you could have a fresh omelette made and fresh pancakes. Most of the fresh cooked stuff had strong queues which had people pushing in and then stacking their plates high! Most other food was cold and had to be microwaved. Same at lunchtime and evening meal time, barely luke warm food. The food choice was varied and nobody is going to starve. Their is a small choice for kids. Plus pizza freshly made each evening. In-between meal times was a later breakfast served at the snack bar which was toasties, meat, cheese, fruit. The snack bar opens 12 till 5. This was the best food served! Chips, nuggets, hotdogs, burgers, chicken doner, fresh salads, ice cream, freshly made doughnuts, waffles and pancakes plus a few other sweet treats too. 2 speciality restaurants are avialble to book.The menus are very limited so we didn't book. The midnight snack room is midnight till 6am. This has sandwiches, salads and yoghurts. The cleaners come in every day and usually came around 10am. Our room was a 2 bed apartment and it was really nice. A good size and had a fridge. The balcony was small. Only big enough for 2 chairs and a small table. Rado was amazing. Always on hand to help. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is quite secluded. The train is right outside the hotel, as are taxis. We went into old Nessebar on a rainy day. It cost 20 lev there. On the return one taxi wanted 40 lev, and another driver said 55 lev because it was raini
