Nessebar Beach

Seriously do not book this hotel!!! The only good thing about this hotel is the air con and the 2 bar staff in the south lobby bar,they were really friendly but thats where it ends.now for the bad parts, Lets start with the room, 1. They had no plug sockets by the beds,only had 1 behind the tv or 1 by the bathroom so if you watch your phone and charge it over night like most people then this hotel is not for you or bring power banks 2. The bed is soo low it gave us back ache getting in and out every day,no need to be that low. 3. Seagulls can be heard everyday day,we had a group of them above our room on the roof,had them pooing all over our balcony and even on our clothes. 4. The doors have big gaps underneath so could hear everything at night while you are trying to sleep had people running up and down the hallways some nighs,resorted to putting a duvet in front of door every night which helped abit. 5. The sun loungers our on sand,never have i been to a hotel where the pool loungers our on sand so sand gets everywhere. 6. We spoke to manager to see if we could get a refund and move hotels and he refused said we could move rooms but they all the same,love holidays wasnt helpful either. 7. DO NOT LEAVE ANY OF YOUR STUFF OUT!! The first day we let the maid in to clean our room she STOLE off us. I had brand new bottles of shampoo,conditioner and pot of hair mask.now the maid decided to help herself to 3/4 of each bottle and pot.i hadn't even used the hair mask and used about 1cm out of the bottles. Spoke to the manager but as you can guess all we got was oh our maid has been here 20 years she wouldn't do that,said he would talk to her but we heard nothing after that.no apology or nothing.to replace what she STOLE would of cost me 90 lev (£45) out there but he didnt seem to care.after that we told them no one is to enter our room,we kepted the do not disturb sign on the whole time even though twice after that someone still tried to come in when we were sleeping.we locked everything up in our suitcases for the rest of the 2 weeks.he offered us a free safe to put our stuff in and move rooms for different maid or we could sit in room while they cleaned but we werent trusting anyone after that. 7. The food is absolutely vile.the food is stone cold as they dont keep it on hot plates,if you wanted hot food you had to be there when it comes out.to ask them to turn an egg over in the morning was hard work,got dirty look for asking and even someone came over and asked why he was doing it like it was allowed.most of the food was salty and oily and not enjoyable,we ate out most days.i will say the pizza at the pizza restaurant was nice and hot but thats it. 8. As for the staff or other people there,they our the most moodiest and rude people ever.other guests push in front even though you have been queuing before them they dont care.they just push in and grab the food like its rationed.its not just in the hotel even all the shops and bars outside they our al

My wife and I recently enjoyed a week-long stay at Nessebar Beach Hotel in late May. Initially, I had some reservations after seeing a few negative reviews and the hotel's three-star rating. However, those concerns quickly vanished upon arrival. While the hotel shows some signs of age, its retro charm enhanced our experience. Check-in was efficient, and our room overlooking the pool was both comfortable and inviting. The bed was excellent, and the blackout blinds ensured restful sleep. The air conditioning functioned well, and the view from our room provided a fantastic vantage point for the daily entertainment shows. The food was plentiful and satisfying, if not gourmet. We particularly appreciated the poolside hotdogs and ice cream, which added to the overall experience. The complimentary local drinks and cocktails from 10 AM to 11 PM significantly enhanced the value of our stay. The hotel’s location is fantastic, situated next to a delightful shopping street and just a short walk from a beautiful beach. With three lovely pools available, there was ample space for relaxation. The enchanting old town of Nessebar is just a 10-minute trip away via public transport, making it easily accessible. Throughout our stay, we found housekeeping to be thorough, and the staff consistently polite and courteous. If I had to mention minor downsides, the Wi-Fi was strong on the balcony but weaker inside our room. Additionally, the music selection, which leaned heavily towards rap and trance, felt somewhat out of place for a family-oriented hotel and was occasionally too loud. Would I return to Nessebar Beach Hotel? Without a doubt! We are already booked to return on September 3rd and are hoping to stay in the same room, number 210, that we enjoyed in May. In summary, our vacation was outstanding, especially from the perspective of someone who frequently travels for business and is accustomed to five-star accommodations. The hotel represents excellent value for money. Bulgaria is a wonderful destination; Nessebar is a charming town, and Nessebar Beach Hotel is the perfect spot to relax and recharge.
