Warm and comfy inn. We stayed in the Remember Baker suite and loved the fireplace. What a treat to have a fire in June! Breakfast was very good. Will return.

A beautiful stay with lovely hosts. We stayed in the family suite and had a living room in addition to two bedrooms. Our children refused to go out for dinner our first night because they loved the coziness of our rooms so much! Luckily, there are great takeaway options in Manchester, which is just a short ride. It rained during our two-night long stay, but Kevin helped us fill our day with great suggestions, helped with discounts, and ALSO wrote us a list for nice places to eat with kids in NYC (our next stop). Mike cooked delicious breakfasts, even extra early one of the days since we had a long drive ahead. We would definitely love to come back, hopefully in better weather so we could sit on the old porch overlooking the brook across the street. A truly unique, cozy inn!

Beautiful old home with lots of historic charm. Plenty of spots to sit, relax and read in front of the gas fireplace or stove. Great breakfasts, all day coffee and tea bar and homemade cookies. Our room was big and comfortable, lots of natural light, well appointed with a gas stove, couch and sitting area. The only drawbacks were the shower was a little small and if you have trouble with stairs, this Inn would be challenging. Also Kevin was very helpful in making dinner plans and suggestions for local sites.

Lovely Bed and Breakfast
We had a lovely stay at the Ira Allen House. Breakfast was hot and delicious and Mike accommodated our gluten free needs from fresh pancakes to homemade cookies. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip to Vermont.

Love this place! There is so much history and so many things to look at. Each room has a different theme. Last time we stayed in the Baker suite which was 2 really cute rooms with a fireplace and a ski theme and this time was the Ira Allen suite which was 2 bedrooms and a common room so great for our family of 4 with different bedtimes. The breakfast here is so amazing and they have the best locally made yogurt I have ever tasted followed by a heavier course of alternating quiche, waffles, bacon etc. Overall a wonderful experience!!
