This is really an old motel that has been updated with new carpet and beds. The bones are still old. Pool and spa area are really tired. And it sounds like our upstairs neighbor is about to fall through the ceiling. Get a top floor if you’re a light sleeper. And for $300, there’s no coffee or breakfast. Mediocre spot.

Property is a bit dated, walls are a touch thin but it is in a great location within walking distance of all of Ketchum and just a mile from Sun Valley proper. They do a great job of keeping parking clear for customers although it can get a bit tight. Beds are very comfortable. A very clean "70's" style room and bathroom. Remember it is Sun Valley so the price is going to sting a bit.

Stayed here during an overnight in Sun Valley- great stay! We wish we had longer. The room was nice and spacious, with the sink outside the bathroom, and plenty of hooks and closet space to hang everything. It was also clean and quiet. There was a small balcony with a sitting area and we would've loved to have more time to enjoy this. The staff was helpful and you can text with them prior to check in- they helped us find some hikes in the area based on what we were looking for. We were able to enjoy the hot tub as well. Just watch out for the ice machine- its hidden in a room downstairs with a step that isn't marked and we both tripped on it. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area!

We stayed at the Tamarack Lodge recently for a wedding. Many family members were also staying and the courtyard was a great way to relax and connect. It's a very reasonable cost and convenient location.
