Lovely hotel right in the heart of Sun Peaks, walking distance to the lifts for mountain top walks. Bars and restaurants also right outside the hotel but not noisy and the hotel itself has a steak restaurant attached which served excellent food with very friendly staff. Only downside was that the hotel charged for parking and although we were fortunate enough to have a balcony there were no chairs on it. Hotel should consider giving guests a discount for the steak restaurant to encourage them to use it.

We went to our room on arrival and found swarms of little flies, like fruit flies, around the two windows and flying around the room. We contacted reception, who said they had another room with no flies. That room was almost as bad, but we were offered no more help, just told that was what happened in the area. We used our own insect spray and, when that ran out, we asked reception for more, but that was refused and we were told there was nothing more they could do. Put up and shut up! We bought some RAID, sprayed the room and went out for dinner. That partly solved the problem. A few other members of our group had similar issues. One night stay, thankfully. Room nicely appointed otherwise. Small window. Two queen beds. Table and two easy chairs. 2 usb bedside charging points that didn’t work, but two sockets close by. Fridge. Iron and board. tv. Luggage storage. Kettle. Wardrobe with hangers. Fridge. Shower, no bath. Mirror, not full length. Very hot rooms, no AC and we couldn’t open the window for air. We ate in the hotels’s steakhouse restaurant and we enjoyed the meal.

We stayed here for my birthday trip to Canada for one night as part of a longer road trip. The hotel room was a bit dated, but the beds were comfy. We had a view into the main plaza area so it was quite noisy at night and then with deliveries unloading in the morning. We loved the location and Sun Peaks itself - full of character! Parking was easy, in the underground car park below the hotel, for a small extra cost. We received a warm welcome on check in but there was no one about on check out, just a key drop.

Spa room was awesome, we had the space to ourselves. Lobby was large, elevator was helpful to move luggage. Plenty of options for food.

Private getaway in the mountains Front desk contacted me at noon to advise that my room was ready early, but were arriving late, so they left our check in package at the door, and set us up with underground parking at no charge. Our room was a good size, and the jacuzzi was just like the pictures. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was a good size. We stopped at the front desk in the morning, very friendly staff, found out we were the only ones staying there for the weekend. Wonderful stay.

Kitchenette was limited, missing basics like salt and pepper, coffee filters, coffee maker was broken, stove top kept turning off during cooking. Pull out couch terribly uncomfortable. Bath room was nice but rain shower head seemed to need a clean. Vents all needed cleaned lots of dust accumulated. Steam room too dirty to go in, hot tub was not even hot, and had to walk outside to access the spa facilities. Very expensive for what you get.

Well located centrally in Sun Peaks village. Clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Ski in/ski out. Decent sized rooms with good but basic kitchen facilities (no oven) but fridge, microwave, stove, and toaster.
