Very nice hotel. Room was quiet and beds were comfortable. Restaurants were right next door. Staff was nice. Only issue was the luggage carts - they needed to be replaced. The one I used fell apart on me when we were checking out. That is the only minor issue we had.

I have stayed @this hotel numerous times. In 2019 the manager was so kind in placing me in a quiet room as I was traveling to Ithaca since my mother passed away unexpectedly. My latest stay was a complete aberration——I was placed in a very noisy room (AC unit was so loud) but the real culprit was the road paving going on until midnight outside. I asked at the front desk to be moved since I couldn’t get to sleep. I was told that there were only 2 rooms available and they were on this same side of building facing the highway. When I asked to speak w/manager I was told she was not available nor would she be in the morning. Really unbelievable as a long time Bonvoy member….smh….

We stayed at this location for a night while traveling for Christmas. The hotel staff was so lovely and very friendly! We brought our bulldog with us and she LOVED all the attention they gave her ☺️ The room itself was very spacious and clean, we had a very comfortable nights sleep! The location is super convenient with restaurants and stores and we took advantage of the EV chargers across the street at Walmart. Overall this was a great hotel and we would definitely stay here if we drive through Erie again!

The entire reason we picked this hotel and rushed to get here by a certain time was to soak in the hot tub. Someone pooped in the pool which meant no one could use anything including the hot tub and sauna for the entire night. At the ymca the pool only has to close for 30mins. I am so disappointed after driving for ten hours.

Took the family to Splash Lagoon for the weekend and got an extremely affordable package with the room and TWO days at the water park for a price I normally pay For a hotel without the water park! I read dozens of reviews (with pictures to back them up) for the hotels attached to the water park trying to make a decision on where to stay and there were SOOOOOO many bad reviews for all the hotels attached to the water park for being worn, dirty and noisy so we opted for a hotel not attached and this hotel had amazing reviews so we booked and it was WELL worth it. Yes, you have to drive 2 minutes to the park versus being on site but it’s worth it. I can’t stand finding hair, crumbs, food, stains, falling apart/beat up furniture etc from the guest before me and that happens a lot. We had none of that here. This hotel is immaculate, comfortable, clean and quiet. Our room was the cleanest we have seen in a while (room 203) (we travel often for competitive dance). Front desk lady was extremely nice and helpful. Pool area is the best we’ve seen in a while too, good size and perfect temp pool, huge hot tub, kids shallow pool and a sauna. Could have had more seating but that was so minor! Everything was clean and there were always plenty of towels. Nice gym and restaurant/bar on site. We would HIGHLY recommend this hotel and we will absolutely stay here every time we come to Splash Lagoon!

Decent property. A bit dated and in need of renovation, but nothing wrong with it otherwise. Clean, with friendly and helpful staff. Convenient to I-90, ten minutes from downtown Erie. Plenty of food and shopping nearby.

We had to book the hotel last minute due to car trouble on our vacation. When we checked in they gave us free cookies and bottled water-maybe a Marriott member perk, but the little things count. They only had two queen beds, but we needed an extra bed for my daughter’s boyfriend to sleep on. They’re 18, but we’re old fashioned. They brought us a very nice size fold down bed with extra bedding and were very nice about it. No charge for the extra bed. The room was quite and clean. Thank you Courtyard.

The difference a day made! I have only positive things to say about my experience at this hotel. Check-in was welcoming and informative. Without prompting, I received a detailed orientation to the site and its amenities, and was encouraged to use them. The commitment to providing outstanding customer service at the Courtyard by Marriott Erie Ambassador Conference Center extends beyond the front desk. Literally every employee I encountered was helpful, gracious, or attentive. For example, one employee gave me recommended two local grocery stores. This morning's breakfast was bountiful and tasty. By contrast, yesterday's breakfast at the Home2 Suites Erie was basic and blah -- breakfast bowls heated by a lamp, plain bagels, and cereal with milk. No yogurt. Mainly for work, I spend approximately 60 nights per year at hotels. I recognize that hospitality is largely performative. Even if hotel employees are in a bad mood, they tend to meet the expectation to smile and provide useful information. My stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Erie Ambassador Conference Center was flawless. This was a sharp contrast to my previous night's stay at the Home2 Suites in Erie. Unlike at the Courtyard by Marriott Erie Ambassador Conference Center, where my stay was very pleasant, there were zero smiles at the Home2 Suites in Erie. At the Home2 Suites, I was not greeted by name, even after I introduced myself to three employees -- front desk; front desk manager; manager on duty. When I tried to ask questions about the location of the elevators and when breakfast was offered, the front desk manager stopped emptying the trash to butt in the conversation and threaten to cancel my reservation. I obtained that information from the manager on duty, but only after she looked it up. My room at the Courtyard by Marriott Erie Ambassador Conference Center was clean and comfortable. All the expected amenities were present. Nothing was untidy. By contrast, my room at the Home2 Suites by Erie was clean-ish. There was no lotion in the bathroom. There was no hair conditioner in the bathroom. In the shower, I noticed a VERY dirt place where one might place a bar of soap. While showering, I discovered that there was NO shower gel in the wall-hung dispenser. When I removed its cover, I confirmed the dispense was bone dry. Yet another letdown by the Home2 Suites by Erie. I mean, essentially an employee has to *never* check the dispenser for it to be empty. I had high hopes that my next stay at the Home2 Suites, for which I had pre-paid would be more pleasant. I confirmed my reservation with Hilton Honors on 5-31-23 and 6-1-23. I used the Hilton app to select my room and check-in on 6-1-23. As I approached the front desk at 3 p.m. to get my card keys, I saw the side profile of the front desk manager from the day before. She dashed into the office, closed the door, and canceled my reservation at 3:02 p.m. In my experience, that is an all-time low in customer service by a hotel employ

I was traveling to upstate NY for less than ideal reasons, a family emergency that turned into a funeral trip. I don't know if it was fate, karma, destiny, etc. but I ended up with probably the quietest room in the hotel. This was perfect after a long couple of days driving halfway across the country. The room was clean and spacious, and there was no noise to be heard from neighboring rooms. The location was exactly what I needed, and John Russell Brewing Co. was a short 1-2minute walk from the hotel which made the location even better.
