The lodge was very nice, but the highlight of our stay was the boat trip and island tour on Lake Naivasha led by the naturalist at the hotel, Joakim. I was there with colleagues with an international conservation organization, and I found him to be extremely knowledgeable about all the animals and plants, but particularly about birds as he is trained in ornithology. The lake is a hotspot for bird diversity, and we saw numerous species on our trip, as well as a multitude of hippos resting on a small island. The larger island has a number of animals that were brought there during the filming of several movies, which range free around the island, including giraffes, wildebeest, and numerous antelope species. Joakim was a fantastic naturalist guide, which is not always the case for tour guides, and I highly recommend him.

Sawela was just home...Hospitality was on another level. Facilities are just awesome. We really enjoyed. Ms Nicole was so good and so welcoming .Definitely we will be back....The food was yummy ..the service was great. Keep up the good job .

Excellent meals and highly qualified cooks and waitresses.The rooms were spacious,very neat and organized.I loved the vast playground and lake Naivasha view point.There is a ample parking ground for types of vehicles.Due to its spacious nature, several activities can take place simultaneously without a hitch.

The buildings are magnificent, the scenic beauty is generally good and appealing, the conference rooms are well furnished in a modern way. For me I can say sawela is really a good place to work in, invest in and also a place for fun. The food were also mwaaaah, the plating was good. I hope one day I'll work in sawela

Sawela Lodge is one of the best places I've ever visited. We were there for a school trip, but I never wanted to leave. The beautiful environment and exceptional hospitality made the experience unforgettable. The highlight was the executive chef, who personally gave us a tour of the lodge. It was clear he loves what he does, and his passion made a lasting impression on me and my fellow students. I hope to experience that same level of dedication and warmth, whether at Sawela or somewhere else. Looking forward to coming back with my friends and family
