Carlisle Inn

This place is top notch and you will love it. I have stayed here more than 15 times and have never been disappointed. The rooms are always very clean and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The premises is overwhelming it is so beautiful. I promise you that you will be very impressed with the Carlisle Inn in Sugarcreek, Ohio this is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen and the atmosphere is amazing.

What a beautiful inn! We loved the beauty of the inn itself and found everyone to be eager to make our stay special. The room was lovely and so many details were thoughtful and helpful. The Amish quilts and art were beautiful. Comfortable beds, loved the balcony to watch the beautiful countryside, and enjoyed the late night snacks available to us. We can’t wait to return!

The Carlisle Inn in Sugar Creek, Ohio, is first class. Beautiful rooms, in-room Starbucks coffee, plus Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. Quiet and restful at night. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Most of all, a staff dedicated to getting it right. There was a mixup over a discount at the associates Dutch Valley restaurant - I thought the reservationist said hotel guests had a 15% discount at the restaurant but it did not apply to dinner. Twenty minutes after I expressed disappointment over the confusion, the hotel presented us with $30 in restaurant vouchers. A big shout out to Ashley, who went out of her way to make a customer happy. This hotel is upscale and a little more expensive but definitely worth the price.

We have bought gift certificates for my parents for here in the past. This was our first time staying at this Carlisle. My mistake was unknowingly booking through a 3rd party. It was fine but it was pre paid and non refundable for early check out etc. be mindful they do not have an 800 #. Call direct. It’s very clean. Everyone has a balcony. I had wanted one the country side. We were on the road side. But it was still quiet. The bathroom is on one side of entry and you have another sink on the other side of door. Which is awesome. We stayed 3 nights so if you want fresh towels you put the dirty ones in a bag outside the door. Breakfast is included. It’s good. It’s the same every day. There is free cookies from the bakery and popcorn from a movie theater type popper every evening. We had a king room. Very spacious. It’s a tub shower combo. But the sides of the tub are low. It was too cool to enjoy the balcony but it’s a nice bonus. There was a mocking bird on our balcony every night singing away. lol. Like 3 am for hours. I would stay here again. They do need to hit the shower handle with some bleach around the edges. The hair dryer was sticky glad I brought my own. Probably hairspray. Staff was nice. We also had a tornado warning and had to evacuate to the ground floor. They were aware and came to every door to let us know. Which we appreciated.

I have brought 12 different groups to this hotel and when I tell you it is top notch it is the best you will not be disappointed. All the staff is wonderful the place is amazing. I have never had a problem and I have never been disappointed. Even the atmosphere being on this property is just am

This is our new go-to place stay when visiting "Amish country". We enjoyed the quiet and the exceptional cleanliness. Mandy was very helpful and remembered me after our first meeting at check-in. Akua had a very good breakfast each day. The pool and hottub were very nice and clean. We absolutely loved our stay and will return.
