The Bay Horse

What a surprise. The roomvwas great with a brilliant comfortable bed. Bathroom was fine as was the shower. Car park. Bar. 5 minutes walk to the town. Loved it.

A piece of heaven in Suffolk. Forget Southwold and Lavenham. Good secure free car parking or easy to get to by public transport, railway station about 10 mins away. Very friendly local pub with well kept beers.

I stayed at this property for 3 weeks whilst working away. I stayed in room 1 which was comfortable and with an amazing view. But I stayed in room 5 as well which was fantastic. The most comfortable bed. Fridge in room is an added bonus. I wouldn't hesitate in returning. Booking was hassle free and I was made to feel so welcome by the regulars in the pub attached. But a very special mention to the amazing Bobby. She was amazing in everything. Great host, I felt I had known her years. So a massive thankyou to Bobby. Plenty of takeaways and shops within 5 minute walk. Loved it here can't wait to go back.

I stayed at BayHorse recently with my disabled mum for my son's wedding,states on site they have disabled access room,they have ramp for wheelchair to get into room and wet room,they need a raised toilet seat and also shower chair for disabled,had to help my mum up off toilet as too low.Rooms need bit of updating re carpets and painting,beds comfortable.The car park is terrible lots pot holes and needs re surfacing,also spaces should be saved for paying guests as car park small and if you go out are lucky if you can get parked again.Lovely outside seating area overlooking water meadow and Girl in bar friendly.
