We stayed from Feb 20-22 with our friends and were assigned the 3rd floor overlooking the beach. We were assigned a corner room facing the sunrise and the sunset views which were awesome. The rooms were very clean and truly enjoyed the restaurant where we ate dinner there both nights including the acoustic musical entertainment. Most of all, we really appreciated the kindness, warmth and hospitality of all the staff from the front desk, the room staff and the restaurant, including the pool staff. Cant wait to come back there next time!

It was a great stay at another @RedDoorz room :-) The room was big and well appointed. It was clean and cool - I mean Cold (great AC) Internet was above average for most hotels in the Subic area.
Parking was easy and the location was quite but not remote. SBMA was a short drive away (really easy) and the rest of downtown Olongapo was a good distance by walk or drive. Really great.

I my family and I rented three rooms here in December 2022. Two rooms with a king size bed and one room with two queen size beds. All rooms had spectacular views from their private balconies. The Wi-Fi connection was not strong in one of our rooms but the staff promptly moved us into a new room. We especially enjoyed how the hotel offers massages in the room. The beach was rocky but the view was unbeatable. The breakfast in the morning was great and cost friendly and the dinner in the evening was even more cost friendly and so tasty. We can’t wait to return here during our next trip to Subic!

What I like about this hotel is, though its not new, it is clean, well maintained and staff are all pleasant. Food prices are reasonable too for a beachfront hotel.
It has an ATM machine in the lobby so its very convenient for guests in case you’ll run out of cash.

One of the worst stays I have ever experienced in a supposed resort. Firstly paid over ₱7000 for a room to fit 3 adults and a kid. The room was very tired, not very clean, tv did not work properly and very basic in amenities. Not worth with the price! The overall resort is very tired. It needs a major refurbishment. Paint is peeling, large cracks in the building, garden returning to jungle etc! Staff are not at all friendly or flexible. Arrrived with our family at 12pm after a long drive. Requested an early check in. Advised they are just cleaning the room now. I said that is great can you advise how long until will be ready. The reply you can not access it until 2pm at the earliest. Wow. Thanks. The free breakfast is average basic Filipino style breakfast food. It is a buffet format only 7am to 9am. Very limited hours for a supposed resort. Also requested if we could just take. plate to our room (literally a minute from where the food is served) to be told no not possible. The location is average. On a busy highway. Not sure where they get Waterfront for the name of the hotel as the only water close by is the run down pool with a run down bar. The bar has chairs that look like they have been recycled from a trash site. The bar staff did not know how to make basic cocktails and constantly referred to a 'menu' with the expected result being average overpriced drinks. The final and worst part of this once in a life experience was the check out process. We went to check out around 11.15am well before the noon requirement. After handing in the keys and and the deposit slip for the ₱1000 to be returned in full (we did not consume anything in the room) I just stood there for about 10 mins. I asked why the delay. Advised housekeeping was checking the room. Ok so I sat down. After another 20 mins chased them. Finally advised they would be keeping my deposit because of supposed stain on pillow case and sheet. We were invited to inspect the linen. First, the pillow case was like this whern we arrived! Second, the small dirt marks on the sheet were not stains at all and clearly would be cleaned in a standard wash.! After my wife argued the ridiculous of the accusation and the ridiculous of not getting a tiny bit of dirt out in a standard wash we were finally given our deposit in full. This I expect was a scam attempt to falsely pocket our deposit. The whole check out experience took over 45 mins and was embarrassing in that the false accusations were directed at us in front of other customers. If there is one resort/hotel to avoid this is it! If you are crazy enough to stay there now you now only have your self to blame!

We enjoyed the place, though we did not used all the pool and slides. We spent more time on kiddie pool and wave pools.my 2 yr old son enjoyed it. It needs some repairs for safety, like the railing on one slide is alredy gone. Kiddie pool is right beside the rampage pool, not a good setup parent must watch their small kids closely make sure they dont cross.
The beach is not suitable for swmming, there are some trashes, you wont notice it unless you swim, its best just for sports activities.
As for the room, its good except for the plumbing which did not work on our last day and also the chairs are already defective, need replacement or repair. But we got the good view of the pool and the subic bay.
The staff are friendly and always ready to assist.

Very good resort, highly recommended, right next to Subic Ocean Park, with private beaches for swimming, swimming pools, and open-air seaside restaurants are also very cheap. We have about 150 yuan for a meal for a family. There are few monkeys. Children like it very much. It is more suitable for couples or families to travel. It is also a few hundred meters to watch the dolphin show in the ocean park on the side. Many, awesome

Stayed 3D/2N during the long holiday in October. Unfortunately, typhoon “Paeng” (International codename: Nalgae) was crossing Luzon Island heading to West Philippine Sea during that time. Beach access was prohibited due to typhoon so we just stayed in our room most of the time. Quadroom has simple amenities. No small fridge and no cabinets to put your stuffs. In room TV has limited channel so don’t expect much. Intermittent Power failure encountered during our stay but they do have a standby generator in place, though you have to wait awhile for the power to be back in. There’s s no in room wifi and signal is weak for both Globe and Smart in the Quadroom building despite bringing my own personal wifi. Only strong wifi signal is in their restaurant. Bringing In of food is prohibited and they do charge corkage fee if you’re bringing one.
Food choices in their menu is limited but taste is ok and reasonably priced. Budget for 4 pax will cost between ₱1,000-₱1,500 depending on your order per meal.
For breakfast, I find it too pricey given it’s just the standard “silog” plated meals. Breakfast cost around ₱187/plate per person.
On our last night, the roof beside the building of our room is almost blown off by the wind which caused unbearable sound as it is being smashed by the wind which make it difficult to sleep due to the smashing sound.
Have not for the typhoon our stay could have been better - Perhaps next time.

Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar is a cool place, but it has its ups and downs.
When we arrived, checking in wasn't smooth. Our key card didn't work, and we had to wait 30-40 minutes to get into our room. Plus, there wasn't even a place to wait comfortably.
The food at the Filipino restaurant was okay, but it was pricey for what you got. Breakfast was better though, with lots of yummy Filipino dishes at a fair price.
Housekeeping staffs and jeepney drivers were awesome. They were really nice and helpful.
Our room was big and had a huge bathroom, which was nice.
There's a ton of stuff to do around the resort, so staying just one night isn't enough. You really need at least two days to enjoy everything.
The best part was seeing all the old houses. They were like stepping back in time and were super interesting.
Overall, Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar is a neat place to visit, even though it has some things that could be better.

Thank you so much for the great staff in this place. We felt the warm hospitality during our stay.
The place is majestic and the intricate details of the wood work will make you love the place. It is quite luxurious even if it’s smaller in scale compared to some of the luxury resorts in Bataan (ie Las Casas, Montemar, Anvaya). It’s very quiet so you will be able to relax anywhere. The bed is also very good so your sleep will be nice.
The only major improvement is the food. I think that the selection is limited since a lot were not available. The taste is also not worth the price. It’s too expensive for Pinoy home cooked meals. There are also ants but this is bearable and we are also in a farm so bugs and ants will be inevitable.
Other than the food, everything else has been great!

GGuest UserUpon arriving at the hotel which looked good from the pictures seen while booking. That was misleading to start with. Proceeded to check in. After they spent around 5 – 10 mins looking for the booking which eventually they found. 2 rooms booked for myself and another for my friend. Was then requested for a holding deposit which is fine, but they wanted this in cash. This I didn’t have, and they wouldn’t take a credit card payment (at this point). So now checking in was complete so you would have thought. Was then told that one of the rooms was upgraded to a VIP room. Nice. Proceeded to the rooms on the 3rd floor and was shocked once the lift door open and we came out. A children’s playground within the corridor. not only that it was nestled nicely into the corner where the corridor swept around. Both of us remarked “what the hell is that”. I got the VIP room and guess what! right by the play area and I mean right outside the door. See picture. Not happy about that…the noise was incredible from kids screaming and using motorised play vehicles. Went into the room and put bags etc down and thought big room …no more than 2 mins later the phone rang and was told oh we forgot to take payment for the rooms. This I thought was the opportunity to change rooms as I might have as well been in the middle of the playground at a school. Went down to reception and request a room change due to noise…what a mistake that was. Paid for the rooms with yes you guessed it a credit card. Given a new room down past the play area and shown in…smaller room yup it was…Dirtier and I mean dirty. Stains on the rug which tried to blend in with the patten…or was it even more stains. Great patch of something brown on the ceiling and just to top it all off the bed sheets also stained. The seating appeared to have been attempted to be ironed as had marks where they had left it resting and had made impression on the seat cover. The bed corners were more like foam barriers as the covering had split and all the contents were now acting as bumpers. Took the decision to make a room change back to the VIP room as could just shut the door and hope the kids would not be making the noise all day and night. Next morning, we both went to have breakfast which I can only describe as possibly the strangest dark brown meat on rice. My friend tried it and took one bite and that was that. Then what looked like a rubberised egg was presented to each of us. Off to Starbucks we went. Went out for the day and came back in the early evening to yes, the screaming playground. Ignored this and then went out again for some food. Came back Kids had gone to bed. Bedtime arrived and in the middle of the night I had to visit the bathroom. Not quite awake I went in and on the way out, eyes now working spotted a little friend on the floor waving it legs about. Took photo as I booked the room for myself only. {see photo) Spent the rest of the night up awake as wasn’t sure if my friend had some mates
GGuest UserRooms It is quite spacious, clean, and there was no foul smell. Kudos to Housekeeping staffs. Thank you for accomodating all our requests. Keep it up! I like the ambiance, swimming pool temperature, and how I wish there is bar/resto staff available to take orders at the beach. Front office The area desk should be bigger and more staff to accomodate faster check in and out. FO Staffs should be more approachable and have pleasing smiles. Restaurant **More food selections and availability (since the area is far from the city) ** Waiting time is longer as expected for ordering in room services and dine in. Example: (1 to 2 hours waiting time) Nevertheless, they apologized and compensate us. (thanks to the F&B supervisor for manning up & taking actions) ** Food cost is quite expensive yet the taste, presentation and service was not good but can be improve as well. Some of the staffs are friendly, approachable and helpful. We hope, when we come back there will be improvements especially at the restaurant/bar. We will definetely come back because of the rooms, cleanliness, beach view and swimming pool.
SSherwin34At long last, we have stayed here for my birthday celebration with my family. From check in, the front desk staff asked us to wait until 2pm since they said that’s the standard time. We waited downstairs because there are no seats at the lobby. Nobody approached us at 2pm so i reminded them that we are waiting. I noticed that front staff people were lack of training. They don’t smile that much and not welcoming. Elevator platform at the 4th floor is not even so a lot of guests got stumbled and its dangerous because there are no warning sign. Our room is great. Cozy, clean and spacious. The veranda is boring. No tables and chairs and towel rack for wet clothes. What i like most is the bathroom! Very spacious and neat as well. I love the jacuzzi that can fit up to two people. The only problem is the bathroom door. Its very old and need to be updated. You can peak from the outside so there’s no privacy for people using the toilet. Room amenities has coffemaker, and safebox. Television channels are a little bit blurry. When I requested for a pitcher of water, i have to follow up for 4 times. Swimming pool is huge and nice. The slide for kids is not slippery so its a waste of time using that. I love the sand and the pool which you can feel like youre in a beach. The problem that time was they have an event so there were no beachbeds set up that time and there’s no staff assisting guests who’s gonna swim. I have to look for people to ask for a towel. The buffet breakfast has a lot of choices. We enjoyed the food especially the kids. The view of the yachts are instagrammable. What I noticed from the first time i set my foot on the resort are the staffs. They should be train how to properly do their job. Some they do but mostly not. For a room that is so expensive, the expectation is very high and i never meet those expectation. The place is very promising but the downside is the service.
