Nice little kitchen. Room well appointed with small kitchen and king size bed. Quiet hallways . Only complaint would be lack of parking due to surrounding construction. Hotel is Located close to downtown and Air Force base for convenience

Americinn appeared recently updated and the staff was nice enough. Unfortunately we chose this location for the “heated” pool, only for it to be too cold to swim in. Another review mentioned the very slippery floors surrounding the pool - they are right. The fireplace in our room didn’t work, the windows were indeed gross, and the mirrors clearly hadn’t been cleaned. Additionally we had inconsiderate and loud neighbors early in the morning, but that’s not the hotels fault. They kept opening and slamming the door for some reason. Overall we had a fine time, the bed and king suite jacuzzi were nice, and we’d come here again if ever needed.

Good value for the money. Clean and comfortable room. Pet friendly hotel. In the right location at the right price. Breakfast was typical eggs and sausage and other quick foods.

Nice hotel, we came to the Iowa state fair this is a great spot to stay! Staff was courteous and check in was great, we have no complaints!

There was mold growing on the bed skirt, clutter on the surfaces and plug in strips. Lobby nice but rooms need some updates and cleaning. I am not picky but a clean room is a must.

Nice room, but damp
The room was clean and beds were acceptable. The room had a very damp feel to it. The rug was very nice, but it felt damp as did the bathroom floor. It was good overall but just felt like it needed to be dried out.

Friendly staff, room comfort decently acceptable. Clean yet dated. Towel had holes but worked. Bed linens very soft, like a well worn t-shirt.

We reserved a King suite but were given a double queen regular room with no offer to refund the difference or any other compensation.
