Beautiful high standard hotel a short way from centrum of Strømstad. Landly and quite. Big spa area, cost ofcourse extra. Absolutly worth a visit 👍

Our stay at Strömstad Spa was unacceptable. The room was dirty and poorly maintained: stained curtains, broken fixtures, a non-functioning freezer, and even silverfish crawling around. My wife has a phobia of pests, and this caused her severe distress. We contacted the hotel with a detailed complaint. Their response was generic and dismissive, with no real follow-up or compensation offered. For a hotel that claims to offer luxury and high standards, this was a disgrace. I strongly advise others to look elsewhere. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we've had.

La relación alidad precio del hotel es muy mala. En recepción, el personal no puede decir que no sabe corar un billete de bus porque no va en bus. El hotel necesita formar a sus empleados para que ofrezcan una mayor y mejor información a sus clientes. Hemos estado en otros hoteles en Suecia y la diferencia en servicio es abismal.

I have been to this hotel before and am always impressed with the customer service. This time there was a mix up with the rooms (not the hotel’s fault) and Rasmus and Olivia were amazing!! They continuously checked on us until the situation was resolved and they worked very hard to make sure everything was satisfactory. The level of customer service in all aspects of this hotel (from Dining, to spa, to reception) is exceptional and I will definitely return.

The location is gorgeous! The rooms are spacious but minimal. I read previous review about the customer service and assumed it was just a difficult customer…but no, they were spot on. The stay is fine, but adjust your expectations…down, unfortunately. The staff (especially in restaurant) desperately need training and additional help. Not being snotty but it was a fight to get their attention to sit, order and pay (each time there were 2-4 groups trying to do the same).

This is a perfect place for a romantic weekend or for a family outing. The spa is really nice, good infrastructure, the restaurant and breakfast buffet are great. The staff are very friendly and willing to help.
