Three of us took our takeaway lunch of langoustine from the food caravan outside the hotel into the bar, where we got the tools for dealing with the giant prawns . The food was daisy fresh and delicious. Best pub lunch ever. The local beers were pretty good too . We had friendly unobtrusive service. This hotel is right opposite the bus and ferry station so we barely got wet as we scurried through the rain to catch our bus. Highly recommended.

Great stay in Stromness!
Such a great stay on Orkney! Staff was proactive and so welcoming. We’d recommend Ferry Inn to anyone looking to visit Orkney.

Enjoyable
Enjoyed my stay. It was fireworks night and I could see the harbour display from my room window.
The room was clean and the bed was a decent size for a single. The food was really good too.

A really great position on the harbour directly opposite the ferry. Our hosts were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the islands and attractions.

very convenient- right next to ferries. room was very clean and roomy. the restaurant was very good too, and the staff were very friendly.

A character property and right in the heart of the town. The eating area of the bar was nice and interestingly decorated giving the whole place true character.
