Structure with potential but not exploited to be renovated

Beautiful and welcoming structure. The girls at the reception are very nice and helpful. Very close to the coves of Balordi, Eolo cave and the main beaches.

I stayed in this property for a few days in July but, apart from a decent breakfast, I found the property old: the room was small and not very welcoming with a view of the back of the hotel. But the thing for which I would not recommend it is the lack of professionalism of the staff. I happened to forget the charger for my new iPhone in the room (a new generation charger worth 60 euros). When I asked to have it sent to me at my expense they were available. Unfortunately, however, the courier was unable to collect the package (I don't know why) so they justified themselves by saying that the couriers no longer collected on the island and they would have it waiting for me in their hotel in Messina for a new collection. In the meantime, a month went by during which they justified themselves on the phone with a series of excuses. When I had almost lost hope, the package arrived (moreover never redirected to Messina, a clear sign that it was collected in Stromboli), but surprise of surprises, it wasn't my charger but an old one from 10 models ago. When I pointed this out, the manager of the facility pretended to search among the forgotten chargers but of course he didn't find it! In the meantime another month has passed... Of course for a 4 star hotel it's really something to cry about! Not recommended!

Small, dark, dilapidated rooms, small bathrooms. The bar is only open from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., no other service, drinks at prohibitive prices. Canteen-style restaurant, no taste, bland. Friendly staff, not very energetic. I do not recommend it.
