What a gem! First time to Stressa and only for one night as needing a spot to stay in order to pick up family at MXP the next morning (about an hours drive). In less than 24 hours, the family and staff treated us as family guest. We took a small room on the lakefront and the view from our room and the rooftop bar and breakfast room was to die for. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area as the islands appeared so close you could touch them and the ferry or private boat access was just across the street. A true oasis in the land of much larger resort type accommodations. Quiet and peaceful based on distance from the larger hotels. The family and staff are all local and very helpful with recommendations. Look forward to another, extended stay in order to further explore all that Lake Magiorre has to offer.

Meine Frau und ich haben gemeinsam mit unseren beiden kleinen Hunden ein traumhaftes, verlängertes Wochenende im Sempione Boutique Hotel verbracht - und wir sind restlos begeistert! Unser Zimmer war nicht nur geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet, sondern bot auch einen kleinen Balkon mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf den Lago Maggiore. Die zentrale Lage des Hotels ist ideal, um den charmanten Ort Stresa zu Fuss zu erkunden. Was dieses Hotel jedoch wirklich besonders macht, ist die gelebte Gastfreundschaft. Daniela und Graziano, das Inhaberehepaar, schaffen gemeinsam mit ihrem grossartigen Team eine Atmosphäre, die von echter Herzlichkeit und persönlichem Engagement geprägt ist. Ganz gleich ob Rezeptionistin oder Reinigungskraft - jede Begegnung war von Wärme und Aufmerksamkeit getragen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und freuen uns auf unser Wiedersehen im nächsten Jahr!

Great location, approx 10-15 minute walk from train station. Overlooks the waterfront and 2-3 minute walk to the ferry terminal and town centre and market area. Rooms were very clean and nice modern bathroom with toiletries. Helpful and pleasant reception staff, lovely terrace area for evening drinks, did not get chance to try the gym or food, would highly recommend

We have just returned from a week at this beautiful hotel. We do not normally give 5-star reviews but in this case we really found nothing to fault. The hotel owners, Daniela and Graziano, refurbished the hotel to a very high standard in 2021-22 and are always available to ensure that everything runs perfectly. The standard of rooms, food and general service was excellent, with friendly staff always available to assist. Breakfast on the 5th floor terrace, overlooking the lake, was a joy to look forward to every morning. The hotel is located close to the ferry terminal so makes it an ideal hub for exploring the islands and the town centre is within a few yards. The surprising aspect is that although the hotel is very central, and on the waterfront, it is very quiet at all times. I cannot recommend this lovely hotel highly enough.

Daniela and Graziano could not have made us feel more welcome. Our room had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean and came with a beautiful view of the lake. All the hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. Sara and Marta gave recommendations to help us make the most of our vacation time. Breakfast on the terrace was a real treat - as were our evening aperitifs! We spent a morning in the hotel’s gym and wellness area. All the facilities were well maintained and again, spotless. I would definitely recommend booking in. We are missing our time at Sempione and would love to return sometime. Thank you Daniela for such a wonderful stay.

Perfect hospitality in a modern, newly renovated hotel. We spent 2 nights with the Kids in a spacious Double Deluxe room and enjoyed the nice location and finished our days with a drink on the beautiful rooftop terrace. Also the breakfast buffet was perfectly presented and had plenty of all you could imagine.

Sempione has a key central location right on Lago Maggiore and a 5 min walk from the ferry. Owners Daniella and Graziano are hands on and lead a wonderful team- Marta and Sara at reception are super professional & provided suggestions for excursions restaurants etc. Hotel has many amenities- illy cafe maker- robe & slippers in room & refreshments available in lobby and a Spa area on the first floor with steam room/ sauna and showers. one major highlight is the rooftop where you have breakfast with a panoramic view of the lake in all of its splendor and beauty. you can also have aperitivo and light fare in the evening hours to watch the glorious sunsets. I highly recommend Sempione for anyone staying in Stresa. Grazie a voi !
