Great rooms. Great staff. Lovely location.
Drinks at bar exhorbitant price and restaurant food good but well overpriced.
Had a nice time but no Christmas menu on 14th December.

Just stayed here for 2 nights. The staff were lovely, the hot breakfast cooked to order with a small buffet for cereals, fruit, yogurt etc. The hotel had a nice feel, with board games to play on a rainy morning and staff checking if you needed anything, like a drink. We did not find the bar prices to be overly expensive. We had an afternoon spa with treatment that we thoroughly enjoyed. The spa is small, but was not overcrowded. It was a bonus, to be able to relax outside. The included afternoon tea was delicious, with scones freshly baked. Would love to return soon.

We chose Stratton House hotel & spa to host our recent wedding and we are so glad we did. The setting for our wedding was perfect in this beautiful hotel, we hired the gazebo for the day and used the beautiful walled garden which contributed towards what was a fantastic fun and beautiful day enjoyed by all our guests. We had so many comments about how much they enjoyed the day and how much they enjoyed themselves. All the staff were fantastic and so helpful throughout the day and with the help of Hallie the wedding coordinator and Nadya on the day making sure everything ran smoothly we had the perfect wedding day. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to host their wedding day.

We loved our weekend here (and so lucky with the beautiful weather!). Reception staff were so friendly and helpful on check in, helping with luggage up to our gorgeous top floor room. View out over the garden and countryside beyond was lovely. We couldn't fault our stay, will definitely be back!

We decided to stay here last minute for the weekend. The hotel is situated in lovely grounds. The room we stayed in was ample sized, but you will be woken up at 7:30am by the house keeping hoovering the hallway right outside of your room. I can’t quite put my finger on it but there’s not quite the pleasant atmosphere around reception, they always seem too busy behind their desk to look up and greet you. If you want an iron and ironing board you need to request it at reception, you are not trusted to have one kept in your room. However, the restaurant staff are lovely and the food was also very pleasant, with a nice choice of wines. Would I stay here again… yes if the spa access was included!
