Huge hotel where some travelers get lost. But very good atmosphere and helpful staff. Rooms and beds are a bit small, however. I would moderately recommend this hotel.

The hotel was in a fabulous location and staff were ok, the main problems were that it was not suitable for anyone with disabilities especially mobility issues the .accessible rooms on ground floor where all fitted with baths. The uppers rooms were not fitted with any disabled aids ,walk in shower with a step into toilets with no hand rails for support with sitting and standing. One disabled toilet on the ground floor next to entrance. The evening meal menu lacking options if could not eat anything offered a lot of the meals where very heavy with spices and herbs Asked for salad with grated cheese got cut up cheese slices. Also restaurant staff gave the impression of wanting to get the meal over as quickly as possible so they could clean up. I understand that the building is very old and tired but a few adaptations would encourage more people with disabilities to stay.

Yes the hotel is going through some changes with a lot of decorating going on that does not mean it is a great hotel the room my partner and I had was nice enough bed was comfortable the food was nice all the staff were good 3 stood out for me Thomas the reception guy was amazing nothing was too much for him and the fact he was from Leeds helped 🤣 The next person who I want to give a huge thank you for is the bar man I think his name was Ben again nothing was too much for him my partner asked for a glass of ice and he said yes the last person to mention is Mel in the restaurant she stood head and shoulder above the rest her customer service skills were outstanding nothing was too much I watched her interacting with customers and she was so polite with everyone

After reading some reviews I wasn’t expecting much. However, our room was newly refurbished and all other public areas were very good. It has a lot of character this hotel. The staff were wonderful and the food was some f the best I’ve had on a coach holiday package. Will be back when. Can

The place is beyond shabby, filthy, and it is grossly overpriced. It looks like the last time it was upgraded was in the 1970s (the bathroom suite was pink and the sink had separate taps for hot & cold water!). The wallpaper was barely clinging to the walls and was stained throughout. The carpets were worn down and also stained. They originally placed me in a room where the shower head holder was broken off the wall, so I had to request a room change. The food at the restaurant was bland, unsatisfying and prepared from frozen and nothing was freshly-made. This place should be closed down as health hazard.

Hotel vecchio e poco pulito, cene servita fino alle 20 e se non hai prenotato, non ti accettano. Posizione non particolarmente comoda. Non mi sento di consigliarlo , se non come ultima spiaggia , in caso non si riesca a trovare posto in altre strutture
